Original description from 2018:
Trains I caught on my recent trip to Benson, featuring 2 Tier-4 SD70ACe locomotives (I honestly do not know how I managed to catch them back-to-back) and four Norfolk Southern units.
Fudanotsuji Bridge is a bridge just south of Tamachi Station. Beneath it sees six commuter mainlines and the busy, and iconic, Tokaido Shinkansen. I made it a point to go here before Nikko on my last day in Tokyo to catch some beloved trains of the Tokaido Shinkansen. As with the last bridge, this bridge is packed with action. I only spent about 30 minutes here as I had to hop on my train to Utsunomiya right after. Like the last spot, it seems as if you can't go one minute without seeing a train here.
As always, trains are categorized and timestamped by their line. Unlike JR East's Shinkansen classes, JR Central/JR West's Shinkansen trains all look very uniform, though there are three types (N700, N700A, and N700S), so I will just categorize them as one. Even though they are not at speed, Shinkansen trains sure are a pretty sight to look at. Now we just need to stop procrastinating and bring these beauties to Texas!

Original description from 2018:
A rare catch of a train I caught near Red Rock, AZ. Union Pacific 5684, UP 5919, and UP 7983 lead a Manifest. Apparently two of its axles were too hot and there was a flap dragging on the ground from a lumber car at 4:19. Chartreuse captions indicate the dispatcher speaking, teal captions indicate the engineer or conductor speaking. I tried my best, but still probably screwed up on some of the captions, so please tell me if I should fix anything. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
My final catches before I had to leave. I wish my camera hadn't run out of battery as I was there for several hours longer. Just out of view, but the engineer of the last Amtrak train gave me a "Shaka" from the cab. It's shocking to believe that in just five short years, a majority of this power has been retired.

Locomotives:
UP 1377
Original description from 2019:
Today, UP 1377, running long-hood-forward, passed before me while I was riding my bicycle down Ray Road. I did not have time to set up, so the decision was made to chase it down 56th street. This decision was rewarding, for the crew gave me a Shave and a Haircut hornshow. What a nice third Kyrene Local catch of the school year!
As of 2020 the observation lounge cars on the Texas Eagle have since become a thing of the past, every now and then they are rumored to make a comeback but nothing is official as of yet.
