Listening to Oliver B. Greene preach on christian radio while driving at night in Tennessee.
Evangelist Oliver B. Greene lived from 1915 to 1976. It is a blessing that his messages are still being aired on the radio today just like we know it from other preachers like Lester Roloff, Adrian Rogers or Bible teachers such as G. Vernon McGee. They already have gone home to be with the Lord but their messages are still broadcast today so that being dead they still speak (Hebrews 11:4). Oliver B. Greene's bold way of preaching has become rare today as people seek soft-spoken flatterers and have become to proud to endure sound Biblical doctrine. It takes genuine humility to be corrected by the word of God.

Eine Erklärung der biblischen Prinzipien, die wir als Baptisten glauben. Die Bibel ist unsere alleinige Richtschnur für den Glauben. Wer Mitglied einer Baptistengemeinde wird, dem wird dieser Gemeindebund ans Herz gelegt, weil darin erklärt wird, was genau die Pflichten und Verantwortung eines Gemeindemitglieds sind. In den 1830er Jahren entstand dieser Gemeindebund unter den Baptisten im US-Bundesstaat New Hampshire. Bis heute findet man in vielen Baptistengemeinde eine Ausfertigung dieses Bundes an der Wand.
Dieses Video hat nichts - gar nichts - mit Tradition oder so etwas zu tun. Es geht nur um heute gelebten Glauben aufgrund einer persönlichen Beziehung zu Jesus. So ist Gemeinde Jesu heute. Jesus führt uns zu einer lokalen Gemeinde, wo wir Ihm dienen sollen. Wenn dieser Gemeindebund nun schon fast 200 Jahre alt ist, dann wird er damit auch nicht automatisch zur "Tradition". Der Glaube ändert sich nicht. Er ist einmal den Heiligen gegeben worden. Um Gott zu dienen, braucht man nicht unbedingt neue Trendbewegungen, sondern man muß nach den alten Pfaden fragen (Jer. 6:16).
Die Musik stammt von der Gospelgruppe The Hoppers. Viele Christen bezeichnen sich bewußt als "old fashioned" oder "old time", weil sie die alten Pfade der Vorfahren nicht verlassen und sich nicht auf Modernismen und neumodische Erscheinungen einlassen. Sie behalten die Bußbank, die King James Bibel, die bewährten Glaubenslieder, den christlichen Handschlag, Bekehrung ist eine persönliche Erfahrung mit Gott, persönliches Zeugnisgeben, und es ist nicht ungewöhnlich wenn jemand Gott preist mit Jauchzen (man nennt es "shouting", "get happy"), erhobenen Händen oder Freudensprüngen.

The governments of the Brazil, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Uganda and the United States cosponsored a virtual October 22, 2020 gathering in Washington, D.C. for a multinational ceremonial signing of the Geneva Consensus Declaration (so-called because it was intended to occur in Geneva before the live meeting of the World Health Assembly was postponed due to COVID-19). This Declaration further strengthens the coalition to achieve these four pillars: (1) better health for women, (2) the preservation of human life, (3) strengthening of family as the foundational unit of society, and (4) protecting every nation's national sovereignty in global politics. For example, it is the sovereign right of every nation to make their own laws in regard to abortion, absent external pressure.
We believe that finding genuine solutions to health concerns should be a priority uniting Member States. This Declaration charts a positive way forward for accelerating progress on achieving this end.

Dear Ford Motor Company, put the good old Ford Ranger back in production. Yes, you heard me right. I want that classic affordable pickup back. Shut down the factories in Muslim countries like Turkey. Don't bother us with the ugly Transit or Transit connect. Fire up the production of classic cars like the Ranger, the Econoline and the Crown Victoria. Your decision to ax these models was a little premature. We don't like that new line of design from Ford in Cologne. We want it back the classic American way. So get going and get back to the old time way 'cause I sure won't buy these ugly modern versions. There are people who don't want self-driving, digitally monitored and computer assisted driving. We simply want to drive cars in the old-fashioned way. If you want to do me real favor, then bring back the 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis. That is the best car I ever had. Drives much better than a Mercedes E-Class.
