Wendy Francis has been the Queensland Director for the Australian Christian Lobby since January 2011. Prior to that time, she had management positions in Griffith University and in Queensland Baptists, and for 8 years was the Executive Producer of the televised Lord Mayor's Carols in Brisbane. Wendy is a board member of Samaritans Purse, Vision Media, Australian Marriage Forum, Queensland Family Council and is an Executive Member of Queensland Alliance for Kids.
Wendy is a passionate advocate for the rights of women and children and, in 2010, commenced the campaign Outdoor Advertising Should be G Rated.
Wendy is a contributing author to the book 'Greens: policies, reality, and consequences'. Wendy is married to Peter Francis, Principal of Malyon College. They have three married children and 10 grandchildren.
