Remaining in the southern piece of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, the entire independent district overwhelmingly contains mountain range with a normal height of more than 4,000 meters above ocean level. With a normal of more than 4,500 meters above ocean level the North Tibetan Plateau possesses 66% of the entire reach. Bowls Are encircled by slopes going from 300 to 500 meters high, south of the North Tibetan Plateau, lying between Mountain Kailash (Gangdise) and the Himalayas, extends the valley of Tsangpo (Yarlung Zangbo) River and its feeders, generally known as South Tibetan Valley.
