A Day in Bangkok - Traveling on Public Transport
I've always wanted to document a whole day's outing using a variety of public transport, this is an actual trip that I took using the following route.
Bus: Prachachuen - Bangsue Station
Diesel Train: Bangsue Station - Hua Lumphong Station
MRT : Hua Lumphong Station - Sam Yot Station
Walk: Sam Yot Station - Wat Kalayanamit
Ferry: Wat Arun - Tha Tien
Walk: Tha Tien - Pak Klong Talad
Chao Phraya Express Boat: Pak Klong Talad - Saphan Taksin
BTS: Saphan Taksin - Siam - Ha Yaek Lat Phrao
Walk: Ha Yaek Lat Phrao - PTT Head Office
Bus: PTT Head Office - Wat Samian Nari
Bus: Wat Samian Nari - Prachachuen
There are still two modes missing from this trip, a motorbike taxi and taxi meter, I'm disappointed I left out the motorbike taxi. Also to be fair I also missed out the Klong Saen Saeb canal boats, which are a very convenient option to get around.

(Suan) Rod Fai is a park with a cycling track circumventing it's inner perimeter, with a length of approximately 3 kilometers, it is one of the best cycling parks in Bangkok.
The actual parks name is Vachirabenjatas Park, however local simply call it Suan Rod Fai, "suan" meaning park in the Thai language.

We enjoyed a short family trip to Betong, Thailand around Christmas 2019, stayed up in the hills above the clouds at little resort called Cool Camping Resort (http://www.coolcampingresort.com/), a simple place, nothing fancy, but Khun Fern, the daughter of the owner, was super friendly and hospitable, just her wonderful nature makes the resort shine.
The following morning we went up mount Aiyoe Weng to see the clouds floating on the tips of the hills below. That was followed by white water rafting.
The initial part of the rafting was very rough, the first two rapids were a quick reminder that you shouldn't play with water :) we fell off the kayaks twice, the 2nd time I almost drowned, I had smashed my knee on some rocks pretty bad and souvenired myself with a nasty cut on my shins, not to mention I almost lost the camera. Tawan & Chaang managed the rapids like a pro.

On a not so clear day we travelled from Saphan Taksin pier to Phra Arthit pier via the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat. I've always loved traveling by boat on a river, I think it's one of the best ways to enjoy river scenery in a relaxed setting.
The river is the best way to get around town in my point of view, you avoid the traffic and pollution, besides most of the important landmarks are a short walk form a pier.
Usually, these boats are crowded but, because of CoVid-19 Thailand has been under lockdown, and the only tourists around are the locals.
