Sonic the Hedgehog (16 bit) Scrap Brain Zone
The final level of the game where Eggman throws everything at you. He even throws a forth Labyrinth act at you. The final boss is luck based and not one of my favourites.

The first game that started it all, released in 1991. Sonic is trying to save South Island from Dr Eggman's nefarious scheme of stealing all six Chaos Emeralds. No seventh yet.
The first level, Green Hill Zone is so iconic among fans. A lush tropical environemtn coupled with speed will win any fans' heart. First two Chaos Emeralds are received in the nauseating Special Stages.
