Here I just ramble around about how I've learned Chinese and some of my very subjective tips of how to learn a language. Btw I don't really like this "white guy speaks {language}" title trend, but I hope it might attract a few more viewers. Because a white person (or any other human) speaking very good Chinese is no more amazing than a Chinese person speaking very good English. As someone who has learned 6+ languages I just want people to overcome their fear/shyness to try to learn a new language.
