Here is an example of some light steel mace work you can do to warm up your body for your Shoulder Day, Leg Day, Back or Chest Day workout.
My training for the day was Shoulders & Arms and called for Seated dumbbell shoulder press, Skullcrushers,Dumbbell curls, lateral raise, triceps cable push down with cable biceps curls and few other things.
This warm up does the following...
1) Activates your Central Nervous System and creates better proprioception.
2) Warms up your muscles, increase blood flow.
3) Activates all the stabilizers muscles
and switches on your core
4) Focuses your mind to the task at hand making your workout more intense
5) Allows for a personal assessment of your body... whats tight? Does anything feel off? Anything hurt?
