Parks Police arrested three climate activists Tuesday afternoon hanging a banner demanding President Biden "Declare Climate Emergency, End Fossil Fuels" on the White House fence.
This comes after four similar protests last week, and 100+ arrested in NYC on Monday.
"I'm here because we need President Biden to declare a climate emergency for the future of our planet," said one of the arrestees before being taken away. "We need to act now!"
"I'm here to fight for all the people who they say are nobody, but they're real people who are dying because of fossil fuels!" said another. "We cannot let our loved ones die any longer!"
The protest began with activists hanging a banner on the White House fence, which an officer warned them against.
"I'm doing this because I've seen so many people who I love treated as if they don't matter," one participant told News2Share as ve participated in hanging the banner. "And so, we want to speak to President Biden to act with urgency, declare a climate emergency!"
The group then broke into chants of "act with urgency, declare a climate emergency!"
"We're basically gonna have a couple officers come up, we're gonna have supervision come up, we're gonna give a couple warnings to clear out. If they don't they're coming with us," a Parks Police officer said as the protest was ongoing, before the arrests.

Activists with the Party for Socialism and Liberation rallied outside the White House Saturday afternoon to condemn the arrests of Black Lives Matter activists, particularly the felony charges against a handful of protesters in Aurora, Colorado.
They emphasized that the Colorado arrestees are being prosecuted by a Democratic DA in a Democratic Party-controlled state, and say that Democrats "can political oppress us just fine by themselves. They don't need any help from Donald Trump, except to use him as a scapegoat."

Activists with Black Lives Matter DC and the anti-Trump ShutDownDC alliance held a press conference outside the Hilton Hotel in Washington DC Thursday afternoon demanding the closures of all hotels through Inauguration to prevent Trump supporters from staying in the city.
Airbnb has already cancelled reservations made in the area during Inauguration, and promises to pay homeowners. The activists demanded hotels close and pay employees to stay home.
"Don't host hate" the coalition says.

Teachers, admin and families in the Fairfax County School system rallied Tuesday to celebrate a local policy supporting trans students against the policies of Virginia Gov Glenn Youngkin.
"Who are we trying to protect? Trans kids! When are we trying to protect them? Now!"
The "Oppose Youngkin 'Don't Be Trans' school policy" march began at Luther Jackson Middle School and ended within sight of a WMAL radio tower, which they chanted at because it frequently hosts Governor Youngkin.
"What do we want? Trans rights! When do we want it? Now!"
Virginia Delegate Marcus Simon spoke, calling Governor Youngkin a bully.
"They are an administration full of bullies who want to take out their frustration, their anger and distract us from their own failings by picking on our trans and non-binary students."
Clerk of the Board of the Transgender Education Association of Greater Washington Area and Commissioner on the Fairfax County Commission for Women Amber Beakler said that Governor Youngkin's policy "is not setting foot here in Fairfax County Public Schools" and described how "even just the language, how they define words is offensive and egregious and violent."
For example, she describes that the Virginia definition of "transgender student" includes only those 18+ or whose identities are affirmed by the parent "Completely erasing trans students who do not have support of students or are not out to them."
A Fairfax County First Grade teacher also spoke out, saying that her union "firmly stands behind our trans and non-binary students."
"We are glad to see that our school district is one that's going to stand up when our students are facing abuse at the state level."
This is the policy memo supported by the rally attendees, but likely to cause strife with Gov Youngkin: https://www.fcps.edu/news/model-policy-update
"Our gender expansive and transgender students will continue to be addressed by their chosen names and pronouns," the Superintendent promises.

A coalition of anarchist, socialist, libertarian and other activists gathered Monday afternoon in Las Vegas for a direct action protesting an anti-homeless law against "camping" in public. The group set up sleeping bags and tents in an intersection, causing police to forcefully arrest them.
At least one activist was injured.
"Our only worry was how they were gonna react and it was heavy-handed like always. They pounced on us," organizer Joey Lankowski told News2Share while in handcuffs. "They just came in full force, jumped on us, busted Kelly's head up."

Amidst a mostly hard left-leaning group of activists protesting outside the Pentagon today, a small group of activists stuck out as members of the Libertarian Party Mises Caucus.
"Print guns, not money!" read the tee-shirt of one of the activists.
News2Share's Ford Fischer caught up with the Mises Caucus's Michael Heise as to why his group participated in a mostly leftist rally.
