On Friday 24th November 2023, guests representing a diversity of partners braved the rain to attend the Covenant Nations Church’s 2nd annual partners’ dinner at Las Vegas Hotel in Bunga, Kampala.
The dinner was intended to appraise the partners on the work God has enabled the Covenant Nations Church (CNC) accomplish in 2023 and to also fund raise for financial support towards the two Light Up Missions planned for 2024 in the country and the construction of a multi-purpose hall for the Edward and Erina Kataaha Bible College in Maya Wakiso District.
Covenant Nations Church is targeting to raise Ug Shs. 1.160 billion towards the cause.
The First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Mrs. Janet Museveni graced the dinner as the chief guest and said all praise and glory goes to God for what He is using the Covenant Nations Church to do in this time.

The Government of Uganda has received power stabilizing equipment from the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Kabale University unveiled partnership anchored Fostering Innovation Ecosystems in Uganda’s Public Universities, and Implementation of the Youth4Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Facility.

Elsie Attafuah UNDP Resident Representative and Kabale University Vice Chancellor Prof. Joy Kwesiga officially signed a Letter of Agreement that will see UNDP and Kabale University establish the Business Incubation Centre.
The Youth4Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Facility is an innovative instrument designed to tap into the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of Uganda’s youth to promote impact-driven entrepreneurship, foster innovation, and leverage business solutions to address youth unemployment.
In the move to address the unemployment amongst skilled, unskilled youths in the country, UNDP has partnered with Kabale University to create business incubation to foster transformational development.
Elsie Attafuah -UNDP Resident Representative noted that facility will help both students and community innovate but also help start-ups to obtain intellectual property rights and commercialize their innovations

As the dust settles on the recently concluded Non-aligned Movement Summit and G-77 Summits in Kampala, the youth of Uganda have adopted and released a groundbreaking "Debt For Climate Global South Position and Policy Statement" addressed to G77 Chair, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The policy seeks to revive and fortify the New International Economic Order (NIEO) proposed by the G77 in 1974 at the United Nations.
