DESCRIPTION:



The fastest completion of the mission with ONLY the use of traps.





The name of the game is to perfectly and effectively place your traps to complete the mission defense. The number 1 spot will be held by the fastest completion time from the moment you spawn into the zone to when the mission defense timer reads 0:00. You can select to compete in 1 of 4 different power level zones. (as interest grows we will launch more but this is where we are starting)



Canny Valley ⚡ 46 Group Mission
Canny Valley ⚡ 70 Group Mission
Twine Peaks ⚡ 76 Group Mission
Twine Peaks ⚡ 100 Group Mission
Each zone changes mission types every 6 hours. Sometimes they change every 20 minutes if there is no alert or storm attached to them. However, the only missions that qualify for this competition is Ride the Lightning, Deliver the Bomb, and Fight Category 3 / 4 Storm. Each will have individual leaderboards accordingly. The other mission types in the game have been ruled out for this challenge because they are mostly fixed time.



RULES:



Your power level may not exceed that of the mission. This means that you must unslot survivors until you reach the power level of the mission. If your power level is above 100, 76, 70, 46 for the respective challenge zones, your submission will be disqualified.


The power level of the traps you can use are scaled to the zone.
· Canny Valley 46 Must be ⚡ 82 and below

· Canny Valley 70 Must be ⚡ 82 and below

· Twine Peaks 76 Must be ⚡ 106 and below

· Twine Peaks 100 Must be ⚡ 130 or below



You can use as many traps as you want to defend the objective
You can build as much as you want before and during the defense stage
You may use any hero you like
You are allowed to repair any structures during the defense stage
You must successfully complete the mission objective. Any damage to the objective is fine as long as it is not failed.
Decoy is not allowed
Once the objective defense has started there is absolutely no use of weapons. Any damage done by range, melee, or explosive weapons DURING the defense stage will result in a disqualification. You CAN use weapons while clearing the zone or escorting the bomb BUT with the same power level cap of the traps allowed for that zone.
No use of any gadget is allowed. Using a gadget during the game will result in a disqualification.
You CANNOT submit games that have been played with the “Powerful Traps” modifier. This is the only modifier that we do not allow for this challenge at the moment for obvious reasons.
No damaging, staggering, or stunning abilities are allowed during the defense stage. BASE is allowed but NOT electric floors or Feel The BASE
Any defenders must be unsummoned BEFORE activating the defense stage
If using defenders before the defense stage they must have the same power level cap as the traps for that zone.
You can choose to play Solo or 2 player only. (We will add 3 & 4 player as interest grows but this means you must have your privacy set to private before launching into the mission)
If attempting 2 player there must be entire video recording of both perspectives
An elapsed timer must be visibly displayed on the screen at all time and started when the first person spawns into the map. If you need a timer you can download one here http://www.livesplit.org/
Your recording or video submission must start before launching into the zone and include full gameplay until the mission defense timer reads 0:00
No glitches or exploits of any kind are allowed
If you are with a partner you must pull up the screen showing your teammate and power level before launching into the map
