I try to repair the damage caused to a President Grant CB Radio by a saltwater flood, there is corrosion to the front panel controls and the signal meter is full of sludge and rusty, so I have to replace the S/RF meter because of the water damage. This is one of many radios I had which were damaged by sea inundation in January 2018, this particular radio was in mint condition as I had purchased it new and left it in its box! I find that when removing the knobs the shaft pulls out on a few of the front panel controls, so I have to either repair the control to replace them, I repaired the on/off/volume pot, and replace the RF Gain and Clarifier controls. This shows me opening the hard drive case to try and repair the drive, and then replacing it and getting OS X to install on the new drive despite the installer having an expired certificate which normally prevents installation of the system.
