Counting intervals can be frustrating if it based on semitone-counting. Try using the tritote instead! (More details on the video).
EDITING MISTAKE: in the last level I wrote wrongly "-0,5 semitones" and this affected the transcription process. It was meant to be "+0,5 semitones" so 25 semitones (augmented fiftheen).
With YouTube video editor I blurred the -0,5 but I was not able to show +0,5 without re-uploading.
So I write here that the correct solution was considering the two As and two Bbs (two octaves) and adding the semitone between A and Bb at the center (25 semitones= augmented fiftheen or minor sixtheen).
But I must say this: do not consider seriously this method if you are a musical student. Intellectual Challenges is more about using memes or apparent abstruse things to challenge ourselves in musical subjects!
On a discussion with a kind reddit user I find out the limits: this method does not tell you the difference between, for example, Bb-D# and Bb-Eb. The major third is the first, while Bb-Eb is a diminished fourth.
If you are looking for more systhematically correct methods use scale method or white-key method.
Have a nice day :D
