? #815 Dynamix UPS-650D Battery Replacement Hack
I modify a Dynamix UPS-650D UPS which requires the battery replacing too often as the UPS turns off on power failure and beeps.

The Dynamix UPS-650D uninterruptible power supply uses a single 12V SLA battery with a 7.2Ah capacity, the UPS battery needs replacing every 2 years or so, when the battery is old the UPS turns off as soon as there is a power outage.

The 12V SLA battery is rather expensive, so I change the type of battery it uses so that it will last much longer than 2 years.

I also change its charging voltage to make it more suitable for the replacement UPS battery.
