First I rant about the shitty customer support provided by Toshiba via their website, email and twitter.
Then I talk about the book "Catch and Release" by Lawrence Block. I never read crime stories. This collection of short stories caught my eye at the library and it was fantastic. Even if you don't normally read crime stories I can highly recommend this book to you. Block's writing is powerful and his stories are intriguing. Well worth your time.
It's that time of year when left-wing statist post links and memes on the facebook about how corporations don't pay incomes tax. Yet their Messiah Hussein Obama has been president for six years. That tells us one of two things is true.
1. The Messiah can't make corporations pay income tax.
or
2. The Messiah doesn't want to make corporations pay income tax.

In this episode I talk about the book “Game Over. Jerry Sandusky, Penn State, and the Culture of Silence” by Bill Moushey and Bob Dvorchak.
Here are the highlights:
The State made this possible. In an ancap society Jerry Sandusky would be dead. He is alive because the State protects him. He was able to rape that many 10 year old boys because the State enabled him.
The Cult of Single Mothers contributed to this. Jerry targeted the children of single mothers.
Sandusky’s wife looked the other way while her husband made 10 year old boys suck his dick in the basement.
“We did what the law required us to do” is a good phrase when you want to explain your inaction.
Jerry Sandusky did not “fit the profile of a sexual predator” according to employees of the State. Jerry took children out of school without their mothers knowing it, had children spend the night at his house in the basement, took children to football games with him, founded an organization to provide “assistance” to troubled children and his backyard overlooks an elementary school.
That is the fucking profile of a sexual predator.
Sandusky got away with all of this because of football and the cult of JoePa.

If democracy is so great, why is our government so fucked up? On in the U.S. do we look at what is being done, realize it isn't working, so decide we need to do more of what isn't working.
The King of the United States is not some magical being who can create jobs and fix the economy. It doesn't work that way.
