Datron 4700 Calibrator Repair Part 5
The reference board fails again so I have to dig into the high side flip flops and reference circuit to track down the fault and fix it once and for all.
The Datron 4700 is very similar to the Datron 4705, Datron 4708, as well as the Datron 4200A and Datron 4000.

I had to replace the screen on one of the kids HP Chromebook computers, the screen was "found" damaged (yeah right).
This shows me replacing the screen, which I do differently to the method others have shown when they replaced them, the way I do it means it can be done in about 10 minutes, and doesn't require taking the entire computer apart to do it!

This is the control unit from a Juki Sc-120 sewing machine, it wasn't working, I was asked to look at it by a guy at work.
I found a few issues with it which I rectified, however as I was unable to test it I had to return it untested, I don't know if this actually fixed its issue or not.

513-fix-it-friday-how-to-clean-an-asus
I teardown and show how to clean a graphics card, This is an ASUS GTX 960 Graphics Card which needs to be taken apart and cleaned as it is full of dust and fluff in the heatsink, I show how to remove the heatsink and its cover, and apply new thermal paste.
I notice residue on the PCB and suspect leaking capacitors, so I test the caps to see if they look OK, and then put it back together again.
I also clean the PCI-E connector to make sure that any oxidisation is removed.
