We live in unprecedented, abnormal times. We are all in this together. Please remember to stay home if you feel ill or if you have no reason to be anywhere that is not your home. If you have to be out and about, please wear a mask over your mouth and nose and practice physical distancing (six feet or more). Wash your hands with soap and water.
You are loved. You are cherished. You are valued. You are the salt of the Earth. The world is better with you in it. Keep going.

Although this wasn't a drill, this did happen and it could've been much more of a real fire than it was. Rumor has it that a teacher was popping popcorn and it burnt, setting off the smoke detector, which then rang the fire alarms, causing a schoolwide evacuation and a 10-15 minute wait for us all.
Fortunately, there was no major fire and the firefighters were called to confirm that.
Note how calm I was during this evacuation, as nearly everyone seemed to be.
Two differences between a real evacuation and a fire drill: They don't do them during lunch, which was the time when this happened. Another was that they play whoop sounds over the intercom during a drill.
Anyway, enjoy the video (if you like loud sounds).
