Today's talk is about the 9 facets of spiritual training on the #Buddhist path. I have received these guidelines from a random forest monk while on retreat in the North of Thailand. I had a bunch of rough days and this short reminder brought me right back onto the ground. These facets are 3 Triplets of practical information for any meditator. The three Jewels: Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha The three Trainings: Sila, Samadhi and Panna The three Characteristics: Anicca, Dukkha and Anatta They point to the simplicity and beauty of real spiritual practice within the silence of present moment awareness.
