Hi, my names Ben and for the past 5 years I have been living abroad here in Thailand. Moving to and living in a foreign country has been an eye-opening experience to say the least and in this video I wanted to share with you a few things that I have learnt from my experience of living in a foreign country. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTTeUqL1hA8
Hello friends, thanks for returning to my channel, and for those of you new here, welcome I am glad you are here.
In this video I wanted to talk about news of a new visa for Thailand, the long term residency (LTR) visa. This visa is a 10 year visa with a lot of perks that I talk about in the video, we also talk about the strict financial requirements, and who exactly this visa is for.
Head over to the tourism authority of Thailand (TAT) news page to learn more: https://www.tatnews.org/2022/09/thailand-introduces-new-10-year-long-term-resident-visa-for-foreigners/

Probably the most famous landmark in Kanchanaburi กาญจนบุรี in, Western Thailand, is the infamous River Kwai, or River Khwae แม่น้ำแควใหญ่ as it is known to locals. The best way to experience the river is to stay in one of the floating hotel rooms that can be found almost the full length of the river, and take a rafting trip downstream and past the waterfalls like we did in this video.

2021 wasn’t a bad year for me when it comes to stock photography, this was the first year I have been tracking my images across multiple stock photography websites and the results weren’t so bad. In 2021 I earned a total of $34.07 across 3 stock photography websites.
Shutterstock is the website I have been using for the longest, having images uploaded to Shutterstock for around two years. In 2021 I earnt $6.96 from Shutterstock from 29 downloads. Shutterstock is proving reliable if a little light when it comes to earnings per download, not my highest earning site and not my lowest, but at least the income seems to be steady.
Adobe Stock is by far my favorite stock photography website of the 3 sites that I currently use, probably because it is the one that seems to earn me the most money. I have had images uploaded to Adobe Stock for around one year and in 2021 I earnt $27.11 on the platform. I earned almost 4 times the am
I didn’t get a download on Alamy all year, so I would have to say that so far Alamy has been very disappointing. The only hope I hold onto is that I hear Alamy pays out well when you do get a download, so I will continue to keep my images on Alamy and keep my fingers crossed I get a download that makes the wait worthwhile.

In this video I wanted to discuss the questions; is stock photography worth your time?
Given that photography is an expensive and time-consuming past time, are the often-small returns from stock photography even worth your time?
As some who uploads to stock photography websites it’s a question, I have asked myself numerous times, and one I thought would be worth discussing further.

Octobers earning from stock photography are a little disappointing, especially following a great month in September, but at least we didn’t slip below 1 dollar.
Once again, this month I had 2 images downloaded on Shutterstock and made $0.20. Once again, an image that got downloaded was a shot taken at media city in Manchester at dusk, in fact the same image that was downloaded last month, and like last month this image earned my $0.10. Shutterstock is at least consistent.
The second image was a cityscape of Manchester, the skyline from a few years back with the ship canal in the foreground, earning me $0.10.
Adobe Stock was the high earner again this month, we didn’t make as much as last month, but $1.84 is a reasonable income for me from stock photography. My all-time best performing image on stock photography websites got a download this month, earning $0.33, and a similar in styles shot (panoramic cityscape at dusk) also got downloaded earning $1.51.
Alamy is killing me once again with another 0 downloads and $0 earned.
In the video today I break down my earnings from October and talk about the images that were downloaded. I also discus the trials and tribulations of getting images rejected from shutterstock. We will look at forementioned images as my first portraits uploaded to stock photography, and touch on the process of release forms when uploading to stock photography websites. I am also quite taken by the quality of photos taken on my new iPhone, and want to share my plans for mobile stock photography.
