Go Karting at Impact Speed Park Bangkok with Tawan Part 2
Impact Speed Park is located in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi province, north of Bangkok.
This time we tried the Sodi RT8 Gasoline Karts, they are way faster is the first thing you notice about it, maxing out at over 70+ kph vs their cousin, the Sodi RTX Electric Karts which have a top speed of approximately 45 kph.
It being our first time on these karts here, and we are not yet used to the different handling, hence spinning out of control a couple of times. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqYtcBYDPDA
I shot this video with my Insta360 One R using the 360 camera mod, I edited this footage on my phone, definitely a noob.
Suan Rot Fai / Railway Park or the proper name Vachirabenjatas Park, is my favorite park in the whole of Bangkok, simply because it's near my house ;) ..... kidding aside, it is so because you are allowed to cycle, run, jog, skateboard, rollerblade, whatever, this may sound a bit odd but most parks limit your fun..... unfortunately.
The cycling path is approximately 3 kilometers long with some sharp turns to be careful of, especially when wet either due to rain or gardeners watering the plants. Weekends or holidays you'll find the park full of people, weekdays it will be busy mornings and evenings with joggers and cyclists, but during the day time it is quiet.
There's also a Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, something to entertain yourself with, lots of birds to watch, and lizards crossing your path every now and then, but totally harmless.

Back to exploring abandoned buildings in Bangkok during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The location is Muangthong Thani Bangkok, actually, it is in Nonthaburi, but you wouldn't know you left one city for another.
Anyway, soon we won't be able to trespass into this complex as it looks like the lower floors have been rented out to shops, and the upper area is being sealed shut with metal gates.
If you want to see the video of my cycling and walking through this building, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e__IgcT7yXk&t=722s.

Travelling between Bangkok to Hua Hin can be a long tiring journey, if you are not in a rush, highly recommended is taking a small B road that takes you through many small villages along the way.
Enroute you'll pass salt farms, swallows nest farms, fishing villages, and much more. But not only that, you'll get to enjoy some super cheap delicious seafood at local restaurants, check the video for our recommendation.
The video is dedicated to salt farming. Enjoy.

Suan Rot Fai / Railway Park is hardly ever known by it's proper name Vachirabenjatas Park, but the park has a great cycling path. If you do not have a bicycle, not to worry, there are bike rentals just outside the park gate.
You can basically spend all day here walking, jogging, cycling, watching the birds, monitor lizards, visiting the Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, etc.
Should you get hungry, there is a small shop selling drinks & snacks inside the park, and 3 restaurants connected to the park.

New Year 2022 Fireworks Display from Icon Siam Bangkok in 5k. The video was taken from Saphan Taksin Bridge, basically whilst standing in the middle of the road, traffic was at a standstill during this period, but we had to rush off the bridge after.
Video speed at 300%.

Cycling and exploring is my passion, and I have a fascination for places that people don't normally enter, whether they be abandoned buildings, slums, construction sites, etc.
On this video, I am trying to give you a view of the poor neighborhoods of Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok is normally depicted as a tourism capital with golden temples, modern shopping centers, sky trains, etc. etc. but hidden from everyone, including locals, are the poor neighborhoods.
Generally, poor neighborhoods are places most people would avoid, because you think of crime, drugs, etc. but as you will see from my video people are smiling, friendly, and helpful.
