With this item, go back to Spear Pillar and play the flute to reveal a mysterious stairway. Save your game before scaling the stairway. Arceus is on Level 80. You’ll need a whole lot of Dusk Balls in advance to capture this Pokémon. If Arceus is low on HP, it will use Recover. Arceus has an ability called Multitype, which changes types by holding plates. Blaziken will use Superpower to cause massive damage but its stats will lower in the process. Even if you become evasive with Double Team or use a Steel type, Togekiss can always benefit with Aura Sphere. After winning, you’ll receive the Gold Print and 20 BP.

After meeting the legendary Pokémon at the Burned Tower, they will roam all over the Johto region. If you encounter one of them, a special theme music will play. Raikou is on Level 40. A roaming legendary will flee on the first turn. Any Pokémon like Gengar for example that knows Mean Look can prevent wild Pokémon from escaping battle. Even if the roaming opponent can’t flee, be careful as it can use Roar to force your Pokémon to flee. Try using a combo with Mean Look and Hypnosis then use Ultra Balls. If you have a Master Ball, you can snag the roaming legendary with ease.

In the cave section, you’ll see Omega wandering around. If your team is not strong enough, just pass by and save the battle for later on. Once your team is up to level, you can have a duel with Omega. Omega is preloaded with reflection and shell spells, meaning that any spells attempted against it will be directed right back to the attacker. It is weak against lightning but will absorb every other element. Omega has a whole variety of moves, including wave cannons, flamethrowers, earthquakes, and others that can give status conditions. The delta attack can petrify a target, while the blaster can paralyze. Rainbow winds can silence, blind, and sap the victim at once. Rocket punches can confuse and mustard bombs can sap the target. Most serious of all is the encircle technique, which instantly brings the target down and removes it from battle. If you are successful defeating this boss, you’ll receive a special badge for your efforts.
