John Turscak, a 52-year-old former Mexican Mafia FBI snitch, has been charged with attempted murder for stabbing former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in a federal prison in Tucson. FTX was founded in 2019 as a crypto exchange and was heavily promoted by many YouTubers and influencers, like @Graham Stephan and others. FTX provided paid sponsorships, seeing your favorite YouTuber who you trust promote something encouraged many people to get involved and invest. Now, these people are losing their money. The company has now filed for bankruptcy and billions in client funds are missing. A reported "hack" has occurred which many believe was actually an inside job. Sam Bankman-Fried had a "backdoor" built into the accounting software that allowed him to move billions without triggering alerts to staff and auditors, etc. "On Friday, Mr. Bankman-Fried resigned as chief executive. The bankruptcy put an end to his frantic efforts to find suitors to save FTX—an ironic twist given that FTX itself bailed out ailing crypto firms earlier this year.
