Creative Ways To Enjoy Christmas Lockdown ANYWHERE!
As the nights draw in and winter approaches, one can't help but think about Christmas.
It's the season for getting together, so nothing could be less Christmasy than lockdowns, social distancing, curfews and limited social mobility. But never fear because here are 7 tips to ensure that your 12 days of Christmas don't feel like 14 days of quarantine!

1. Shop Early
What with some shops being closed, others with limited opening times and capacity, more people will be doing their Christmas shopping online and therefore delivery times will be longer. Get ahead of the crowds by ordering early to ensure your gifts arrive in time.

2. Pick Your Traditions
Christmas time is full of traditions, but this year it may be impossible to do them all, so don't stress yourself out trying to do so. Pick out the easiest or the most important to you and make them extra special!

3. Make Your Own Traditions
Traditions are just things that we do repeatedly because we enjoy them, so why not start your own? Ugly sweater competitions, family Christmas crafts, "quizmas" quiz nights, and Christmas film fests are just a few ideas.

4. Take Christmas Outside Too!
With social distancing and limited gatherings, you may find you'll be entertaining outdoors more this Christmas, so prepare yourself!
Deck out your decking, decorate and put up some lights, and set up some heating, maybe even prepare a fire pit and roast chestnuts. This year Christmas is all about creativity in the face of adversity!

5. Make the Most of it!
We may not be able to see all our loved ones this Christmas, but rather than focus on who isn't there we should focus on who IS! If you can only see someone for a short while, do it with joy and positivity. If you can't see a loved one try to connect differently. A Christmas day letter, a gift delivered to their door, or some food or drink ordered for them will all help to make this time special.

6. The Difference Makes it Special
Don't enter this holiday thinking it won't be the same as other years. Enter it thinking it will be different, and we will remember it as being something special. That one year when even though we were isolated we still managed to celebrate.

7. Share
The holiday season may be difficult this year, but it'll be difficult for everyone. Christmas is about sharing, so let's share happiness! Bake some Christmas treats and take them to your neighbors, go sing some carols, send a Christmas card, or thank you letter to your local hospital, or Share a VIDEO YOU MAY LIKE!! -ahem!. The more joy we spread the better this Christmas will be for all!

How will you spend this Christmas?
