I was inspired by Rabbit R1 to create a small gadget/iphone that would be a competition but at the same time I wanted it to be a ,,mini iPhone" for the usability purposes. Rabbit R1 is an interesting gadget that I feel like I would not want to have just because of AI and it being different. But this one I created is not only different but I would like to own it, no question! It's a 82mmx82mm metal frame (14.5mm thick) and the metal rods make it 103mm high in total. It may look weird but I wanted to have them for couple of reasons, they can serve as additional protection for the frame and mics, you can attach it to a strap and carry around easily without the need to have it in your pocket and lastly it does make design better by ,,extending it" vertically. The back face is split into a small glass-section with the camera housing and it resembles both older iphone designs which had this kind of separation made by the antenna lines and it also reminds me of current iphones which have glass pieces incorporated into the camera bumps. This design is kinda special because the glass camera housing extends into antenna line on the side so it really connects both ideas together. Since the whole frame would be a metal piece there is a signal factor too so glass was definitely a reasonable choice. Unlike the R1 gadget I wanted to exclude rotatable camera, scroll wheel and basically everything that would make the product or certain parts of it look like a toy, one camera at the back is enough for taking pictures or videos and with a glass/mirror you can take amazing portraits/selfies by turning a whole device in your hand and positioning your face by looking at the mirror. Moving away from this ideas was also inspired in order to give the display a whole front space so it's not super small and still usable, with the size of 4.15Inch it's more then a great screen, touch screen. Famous grill at the back supports very strong speakers and visually make the appearance of the device really unique, shutter button on the side was inspired by Apple Watch Ultra and since both devices are a metal pieces I thought it would look good here.
