I meant to have Dave react to this one last week but I fully messed up on queueing up the video, so my apologies for the extended wait on this one.
Thanks so much for the suggestion!

Hi everyone! This one was suggested by me. Not gonna lie I'm an OG Styx fan and love Dennis DeYoung. Always will.
Dave likes this one but has his own opinions on just who the last guitar hero truly is.

Hey there everyone — this song was suggested by Jef Costello!
Dave recognizes Betty almost before the song starts. Dave names a bunch of players who appeared on her first two albums, but as Betty had been touring before this album was recorded, she stuck with her touring band [Funk House] instead of the many session musicians she had used on the first two.
Dave loves the funk, as you all know!
Thanks for the great suggestion Jef.

Hi friends! This song was suggested by @MoreThanDanny!
Great playing here, but he gets a little stuck on the cleanliness of it all. He likes some dirt and grime in the mix like they did in the good ol' days.
At one point he thinks the bass and the drums are his favorite and then the keyboard solo comes out swinging!
Thanks for another great suggestion MTD.

This one left Dave wanting more of Moore! Extended jams were needed!
Thanks for the fun suggestion Mark!

Hey there everyone! This song was suggested by our pal Mark Levitt!
Dave was very impressed at the musicianship, he especially loved the keyboardist, but admitted that everyone in the band was excellent. He has a theory about siblings in bands and this band reaffirms that theory!
Thanks for another great suggestion Mark!

Hi there everyone, this suggestion came in via twitter. Neither of us knew the song or the band.
After the song we went over their wiki page and were shocked that they had 57 top 40 hits in the UK and had sold 118 MILLION albums.
We were pretty shocked that they weren't a staple here in the US. How does that even happen? OR are we just living in some weird bubble where only the two of us haven't heard this band before?

Hi there everyone! This song was suggested by our pal Mark Levitt!
While Dave enjoyed Ida's bass playing, he didn't seem to like the song so much. If you are new to this channel perhaps you aren't aware of Dave's absolute love of funk. He loves it so much we did an entire podcast episode about it a few years ago:
Dave on Funk — https://youtu.be/pPs_CMSkbQo
So song and singing aside, the bass playing and drumming both get a thumbs up from Dave.

Hi everyone, this song was suggested by Mophead!
It took Dave a second to figure out the band but he really dug this song, specifically the drumming and the guitar.
Great suggestion Mophead! Thank you very much =)
