My first impressions of Across the Valley, a Harvest Moon -like in VR. Well, it's more of a Motion Controls - Simulation in a farming setting. This game is very much just focused on the actual farming without any of the additions in games like Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley. This game is just a short ittle walking simulator that tells the story of Nagoro, the village of scarecrows. There's not much to do or to discover in this "game". It's more of a playable travel recommendation, with some cute artwork and beautiful music. So I played Hogwarts Legacy on the PS5 and I didn't expect too much... mostly a mediocre game that lets me explore Hogwarts and live out a it of a wizard fantasy. And that's pretty much what I got. The next Shovel Knight spinoff is a rogue-like platformer where you vertically traverse a giant cave. You have to challenge the Hexcavator knights, each one in their own domain, so their is a good amount of visual variety, as well as different level gimmicks and mechanics and of course a bunch of different enemies to keep the gameplay fresh. But be prepared to die a lot and start over from the very beginning each and every time.
