Dedicated to the soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, particularly Blessed Charles/Karl of Austria - the last of the Austro-Hungarian and Holy Roman Emperors.
A song mourning the loss of the Portuguese monarchy, following Manuel II being deposed in 1910.
King Manuel II was greatly loved by his people and the republicans were very unpopular winning the least number of seats in the elections during his reign. But being the hypocrites they were, they would have their way even if it meant ironically doing so by undemocratic means. While they were not popular, they were very powerful having been able to cause several military units to mutiny. Even so, when the revolution came, it was by no means clear it would be successful. It was only a huge misunderstanding that ended up having people believe the royalist forces had surrendered that gave the revolutionaries the victory they needed.
The king then left for England having had a one-and-only chance to escape by the royal yacht at the Praia dos Pescadores (Fisherman's Beach) in the seaside town of Ericeira. I picked the picture that I did as I imagined it to be like an aftermath to the king's escape, although it was completed 2 years before the Revolution happened.
The song is performed by José Campos e Sousa, who also did the Deus, Pátria, Rei song that is quite popular among monarchist channels. He is actually a very outspoken monarchist and if I can find them, I'll post more of his monarchist pieces.
I should also apologise as this song is a poem and I haven't done it justice in translating it as I don't know a word of Portuguese and had to work off the Pidgin English of Google Translate as well as the words I recognised from my basic understanding of Spanish. If you are a Portuguese speaker and can give a better translation of the lyrics then please let me know as I would like to update the video with better lyrics.
From the anime 'Code Geass', an anime I can't recommend enough as there's nothing quite like it. This is also my favourite theme for an 'evil empire' in fiction.
The Holy Brittanian Empire in the story are basically American neocons larping as our own British Empire. Despite their name, they were actually nobles kicked out of Britain and fled to America. In the story they battle the European Union and the Chinese Federation (Basically what the Soviet Union would've been if it was based in China instead of Russia).
The anime is incredibly over the top, larger than life, full of big battles and 4D chess big-brain strategies. Watching it has made me laugh, cry, cringe... just go watch it if you haven't already.
In this second part of Dr. Johnson's analysis of Bolshevik strategy during the October Revolution, the economic failures of the very early USSR are stressed. By 1920, the USSR had no functional currency or economy. All sectors of society were in open revolt. Former revolutionaries were now opposed to Soviet power. Peasant armies were formed and ran to join the Whites.
This is an incredible event: a handful of rich Jews claiming to speak for the “working class,” successfully took over a massive, prosperous empire, liquidated it’s economy, used punitive measures against all dissenters, destroyed food production, alienated it’s main support base, fought a civil war and STILL remained in power.
How did they do it?
This is the question that, finally, this broadcast answers using never before heard translations from Soviet sources.
A three part series in which Fr. Johnson analyses the disastrous effect of industrial farming and urbanization and advocates for a revival of rural and town life. In this final part, he looks at the Anti-Federalist movement in the early United States.
Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson looks at Bolivia, Argentina and Pinochet in this second look at South American anti-Communist military regimes.
These two lectures have proven that military governments were the only guard against the total hollowing-out of Latin American economies to either communist revolution or liberal capitalism. The limited ideological vocabulary of the US military and intelligence community show an obtuse ignorance incapable of understanding that national socialism (not Hitlerism) is a viable and successful form of government. Over and over, these dictators were called “communist” by these ignorant bureaucrats, but each one created a prosperous society.
Unfortunately, the successes of these states have all been undone when IMF-supported banana republics were restored at the insistence of the US and the banks that rule it. Argentina and Peru were close to first world status when their militaries were forced out. In 2019, Latin America remains in poverty, crime and drowning in drugs in the name of “democracy” and “human rights.” Regardless of whether leftists, “socialists,” or liberals come to power, the results are all the same. Capitalist and communist governments create ignorance and dependency. They lead to irrational economics that benefit elites far, far away. Buzzwords and prejudice have led to the destruction of a whole continent.
It's time for the stupidity to end. Liberal democracy is a fraud.
Off-key singing, wimpy instruments, dumb little chants, a brick hall lined with banners, songs about inheriting the earth - how is this not a christian youth group?

Featuring the Terran Empire from Star Trek's Mirror Universe. Friend got me into Star Trek earlier this year, I've liked it despite the lefty-ness of its politics (which by the 1st season of The Next Generation is unbearable). Terran Empire seems way cooler than the Federation even if it is a cartoonish idea of what an empire would be like.
I give credit to Evil Spock who made this compilation:

There was a lot of episodes to sift through but this guy ^ had already done the hard work. I was lazy with this one so half of my vid is just using his clips.

An old talk that Fr. Matthew Raphael Johnson gave the origins of (small 'r') republicanism and liberalism.
