In this episode, we design a sample bracket around this Eaton Hydraulic Pump I downloaded from their website as a real world example part to design around. This is an example of multibody workflow (in my opinion the best design principle) that is VERY uncommon in the Solidworks Community. I don't use vault so I have no idea how multibody interacts with Vault, or any ERP, MRP system. This is how I tend to design, so it may not work for your situation but as always I hope it gives you some tools to stick in your belt and makes you a better CAD Jockey.
