2006 Ford F350 - How to replace the Door Check on the Truck
My old Door Check "Strap" was broken when I bought this Ford F350. It made a terrible creaking noise whenever the door was closed, so I had enough. I went online and bought a replacement part. I figured while I was at it, I would document the replacement for you fine folks. It involves taking the door panel off and you will need an 11mm, a 7mm, and a 5.5mm for the speaker, if your speaker is stock.... You may also need a flat head screw driver and some sprayable contact adhesive (for the rain seal). ======================== If you like what you are seeing, and want to see more "How To / DIY" videos, please subscribe! Hey folks. In this episode I learn that when my bluetooth headphones are paired, they cancel out the recording audio. This really took the wind out of my sails but I voiced over and we are moving forward with the story,

I needed to drill an angled hole for one of the organization shelves, so here is a quick jig you can build to cut angled holes to a flat face with a hole saw

In this episode, we design a sample bracket around this Eaton Hydraulic Pump I downloaded from their website as a real world example part to design around. This is an example of multibody workflow (in my opinion the best design principle) that is VERY uncommon in the Solidworks Community. I don't use vault so I have no idea how multibody interacts with Vault, or any ERP, MRP system. This is how I tend to design, so it may not work for your situation but as always I hope it gives you some tools to stick in your belt and makes you a better CAD Jockey. Hope you enjoy, Skud.

This video is a first try at a DIY home built fresh air mask or otherwise known as a Positive Pressure Mask. I do a fair amount of sand blasting and hobby painting and was tired of having to constantly go thru filters. Also, the filters don't filter out the isocyanates in the automotive paint. Part 1

Part 4 of 5. This is the fourth in 5 parts on building Structural Steel Stairs. This was an actual set of stairs for a customer. Looking back in hind sight, I would have probably used Excel and would have used an extra "Control Part" with all of my reference information embedded into that controlling part.

This is Episode 5 of a mini series on design and build. This episode is on modeling the Buffing Wheel. It looks as if the professional set-ups are a bit different than the old stitched buffing wheels I am use to. It looks like I should have bought a 1-1/4" Shaft as that is more of a standard.

This is the first of 2 videos on installing a light run in my shop off of the existing wiring. The power is going thru the lights to the switch which requires an extra "traveler" wire for the 2nd set of lights so that they are not wired in series. I make the mistake of wiring them in series at first and fumble around a bit as I am NOT an electrician nor is this wiring anything resembling a code installation.
