In this short clip Rick Deckard from Blade Runner is driving through the 2nd street bridge in LA. I would love to try and recreate this tunnel scene while driving through a tunnel here in Dallas. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdbajC85x0I

This was a quick test using the go BMPCC along with the 1.5x VM anamorphic Lens and a meike 35mm f/1.7 taking lens. Settings for theist are
Camera ISO 800, Shutter 180 degrees and white balance at 5000 kelvin
Taking lens at f/4 and all focus was done with this lens.
This lens performs much better when stopped down.

This is the review of the StudioFX 40" slider that I recently purchased for video production projects from Amazon. This one only cost $105 so it can will fit into most budgets. Overall it is a wonderful slider and built very well. StudioFX does make a 32" and a 24" if you don't wish to have one that has such a long slide. The nice thing about this slider is that if you ever need to do maintenance on it it is very easy to disassemble for through cleaning, lubricating of the rails, and reassembly. The carrying case is moderately padded that will give it plenty of protection against bumps and nicks. It also comes with a separate small pouch that is used to carry the legs in so they do not scratch of dent the main slider body or carriage. If you have Amazon prime the shipping is free and it should arrive to you in roughly two days.

This is a short review over the Sony FZ mounting system that Sony uses on their CineAlta cameras such as the F3, F5, F55, and F65 cameras. I personally love using this mounting system because it is so versatile. It will allow you to mount basically any lens to the camera from any other lens manufacturer.

This is a quick mic comparison test to show you how the VidPro XM-55 stands up against a few other mics that I have. Unfortunately the Tascam recorder I have, DR-05, does not have XLR inputs so I had to do all my testing with going through the 3.5mm input. Like I mentioned in the video once I get a recorder that has proper XLR inputs I will be redoing this test and putting the VidPro XM-55 up against a Rode NTG-2 and possibly a Sennheiser mic. For the test I had the Tascam input turned down to 19 dbu across the board for all three mics. The Tascam can be adjusted up or down some depending on the mic you are using and what you are trying to accomplish.

This is just a quick test that shows my Pioneer DVL-909 playing the movie "A Long Kiss Goodnight". I took the top and rear cover off of the Laserdisc player for cleaning. It shows that the transport carriage works fine and it will even flip the carriage just fine for playing the second side of the disc. For some reason it doesn't always seem to read the disc when you first load one. Normally you would put a Laserdisc on the tray, hit the LD button and it will close, read the disc and tell you that there is a Laserdisc loaded. Intermittently after you load a disc on the tray and hit LD it won't read anything and will eject the disc. Both laser lenses have been cleaned and it is still acting the same. I also relubed all moving parts that looked like it had dried grease.

This is my second attempt at slow motion video. This ended up looking much better than my first attempt. It was shot at 720p and at 120 fps then placed on a 24p time line and then slowed to 10% of normal speed.

So way back when the Sony PS1 was a new game system I bought a Robotech game when it first came out. Robotech had always been one of my all time favorite anime to watch. Anyway I thought I lost the package the game came in along with all the contents that were in the package. Twenty so.ething years later I found it!! I opened the compressed disk that was the T-Shirt and found out it was a size XL!! am totally excited about the shirt!!

On this video i wanted to test a few things.
1st I wanted to see how well the SLR Magic Rangefinder performed in ultra low light. I heard it does horrible unless you have lots of light for it.
2nd to see how the Rangefinder performs with a wide open taking lens. I have also heard that the Rangefinder isn't really any good unless you stop down to at least f/4 to f/5.6
3rd how well the anamorphic lens will flare if at all under candle light
The entire scene was lit with only 3 candles
On this setup I have the GH4 set in 4k in CineD
4k 24p ISO 1000 and shutter at 48
Taking lens is a Contax Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 wide open
Anamorphic lens is a Zeiss Anamorphic 2x 63
Single Focus Solution is a SLR Magic Rangefinder
Follow Focus is a Fotga DP500 2S with a speed crank to make focusing easier
