Crisis In Sudan: The Background Of The Civil War
Sudan is currently experiencing a civil war which has a death toll of 559 reported so far, and over 4,000 wounded. The clashes in Sudan are between the Sudanese Armed Forces, led by Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary group, led by Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo. I run thru the basic details of what led to the conflict and the short background of what led to this conflict.

Numerous factions led behind warlords such as Gulbuddin Hekmatyar (Hizib-I-Islami) and Ahmed Shah Massoud (Northern Alliance) and the communist remnants in Kabul began. by 1996 a new foe fought against Massoud, this time led by the complete backing and financial support of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan ISI, the Taliban. In 2001, Massoud was assassinated, and two days later Bin Laden's Al Qaeda attacked the United States. It would later come out thru unclassified reports that it was the CIA, Pakistan ISI and Saudi donors who gave financial and logistical support to the Hekmatyar in 1992 and the Taliban in 1996, in hopes of defeating Massoud.

The Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 is the official name of the inquiry conducted by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence into the activities of the U.S. Intelligence Community in connection with the September 11, 2001 attacks. The investigation began in February 2002 and the final report was released in December 2002.
The Joint Inquiry received testimony from the Director of Central Intelligence and the Directors of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency, and also examined the records of these agencies, to determine what the Intelligence Community knows now about the September 11 attacks. FBI Director Mueller described efforts by the U.S. intelligence and law enforcement communities “to find out everything we could about the hijackers and how they succeeded.”

Jean Luc-Brunel, a French model scout and modeling agency manager for MC2 Model Management (which was financed by the late Jeffrey Epstein), was found dead in his prison earlier today at the La Santé prison in Paris, France. Brunel has been accused of being a sex trafficker for Epstein between 2005-2014 using his agency as a conduit. In 2019, Jeffrey Epstein, accused by numerous women of being sexually abused by the disgraced billionaire, was found hanged in his prison cell as prison cell cameras were turned off. Brunel, was found also hanged in his cell, and like Epstein, the prison cameras were not working. Just days earlier, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, a sex abuse victim of Epstein and Prince Andrew of York, had finalized an undisclosed financial settlement. With Ghislaine Maxwell convicted of 5 counts in 2021, a juror, who managed to speak with other jurors during the trial about he himself being a victim of sex abuse, now puts the conviction in jeopardy. Maxwell's lawyers have petitioned for a retrial which the judge has yet to consider. I report from numerous articles about the events of the last 2 months.
