Just playing around with an idea for soft shadows, made by calculating the penumbra polygons and rendering them with ye olde fashioned glColor/glVertex.
It didn't work out quite as well as I had hoped. I guess that's why the young'uns use these newfangled shaders and such.

A little more progress, now using a mouse joint to move one arm only. This is very intuitive, gives detailed and natural control, and will suit touch controls nicely!
The purple thing is a kinematic body which restricts the movement of the fist fixture. This was necessary to avoid the mouse joint being able to tip the boxer over.
