One of my oldest video ideas is finally getting its day in the sun! Today we're talking about three throws or ways of throwing that I never see used during professional coverage. Sometimes it's lack of opportunity. Sometimes, it's because it's more fun to be the little spoon.
I like introducing people to golf. But I'm not always the greatest at teaching new players how best to make contact, develop a swing, find consistency, or any of that. So I figured, "What better way to understand a friend who's new to the game than by starting new myself?" I've got a bit of a head start, since I know what makes the ball fly properly, but my body doesn't know how to combine the motions to do it successfully. So join me on my journey to become better than a bogey golfer left-handed! :D
I recently realized that I've had this bag for almost exactly two years, and it could probably go for another two more (minus that one bottle pouch). For only $90, this thing has been a monster in reliability. Heat, cold, wet, it's been up to the task. What bag is your favorite, or what bags have failed? Let me know in the comments!
There's a new disc golf shop in town, and I'm thrilled! Stop by if you get the chance! If nothing else, they have some free Disc and Balls stickers to spruce up your Zuca carts :D
Here's the link to get there!

Some quick backyard practice, but what's more reasonable: A 16ft disc golf putt, or a 11ft chip into the same basket? The answer will probably not surprise you one tiny little bit! Hopefully it'll be entertaining though, as I think this is the first time I've combined the two sports in a video.
We're trying something a little different today. Less talking, more throwing! How do you normally play your solo rounds? Do you bring music? Beers? Greenery? All of the above? We're walking through the long layout at Riverside Park in Victoria, TX, prepping for the Riverside Rumble on October 8th!
A shorter course is a fantastic way to practice upshots, particularly with your favorite approach disc. Today we play Waldron reds using Harps only. We'll have to figure out how to putt with these things, since nobody really putts with Harps.
Today we're reviewing MVP's straight-flying, reasonably-gliding Anode Putter in Electron Soft plastic. In this video, I reference compare it to Gateway's Voodoo and Legacy's Hunter putters, not that anyone knows how any of those very niche putters feels, typically. Oh well. On a completely unrelated note, wanna know how to turn a 30 min edit into a 5-hour edit? Add shot tracers.
