In this video we're going to take a look at a Docker application called Yacht.
Yacht is an alternative to Portainer that aims to make docker more accessible to the everyday person and is focused on selfhosters instead of the enterprise.

In this video we'll look at how to install the Heimdall dashboard for your Raspberry Pi Docker Home Server.
Heimdall Application Dashboard is a dashboard for all your web applications. It doesn't need to be limited to applications though, you can add links to anything you like. There are no iframes here, no apps within apps, no abstraction of APIs. if you think something should work a certain way, it probably does.
Here's the stack I used in the video: https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/heimdall
I took out port 443 as we'll be accessing this locally without SSL.
The hardware I'm using in my Raspberry Pi Home Server:
- Raspberry Pi 4 8GB
- Argon One M.2 Case
- Silicon Power 256GB Boot Drive
- Sabrent 2TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 Storage Drive
- Sabrent USB 3.2 Tool-Free NVMe Enclosure
Currently the Argon One M.2 case is NOT *currently* available on Amazon, but you can get it on their website: https://dbte.ch/argononem2

With watchtower you can update the running version of your containerized app simply by pushing a new image to the Docker Hub or your own image registry. Watchtower will pull down your new image, gracefully shut down your existing container and restart it with the same options that were used when it was deployed initially. Run the watchtower container with the following stack:

This is the production of ESPlay Micro project: https://hackaday.io/project/166707-esplay-micro
ESPlay Micro is a Handheld game console based on ESP32, which is from Espressif with great functionality and really mature in software development side. This project most inspired by Odroid Go and Pocketsprite, those devices are great and have well community support, but some of them had some issues that can be updated. Odroid Go had shared its SPI for both display and SD card, and they need patched esp-idf version for it and SD card not work very well in SPI mode, Then Pocketsprite only has esp32 wroom module without psram and also without SD card support so limited portability for saving collection of games.
So that is what this ESPlay micro updated. With SD card support added, customers can collect many more games. High quality sound I2S DAC also added to make It possible a good Walkman.
Note that there only the PCBA, USB cable and SD card, without case and battery, you will need a lipo battery, or USB charger, to start to play.
Makerfabs is also designing some cases for this, but need some more time for us to make a reasonable solution.
Features:
- ESP32 WROVER, Dual-core processor with Integrated 4MB Flash + 4MB PSRAM
- Integrated WIFI and Bluetooth 4 BLE
- 2.4" ILI9341 TFT Panel
- More button (expanded via PCF8574 I2C GPIO)
- Micro SD slot connected to SDMMC Host in 1 Line Mode for saving GPIO pin
- Integrated I2S DAC via UDA1334A
- Integrated USB to Serial for programming and debugging using CH340C
- Built-in TP4056 Li-Po charger
- I2C port for expandable function
- 3.5mm Headphone jack
- Small Size - PCB only 100 x 50 mm

I've been a HUGE fan of smartwatches and trackers and recently I picked up the K88 SmartWatch from BangGood.com.
The K88 SmartWatch looks and feels great!
Here are some of the features:
- Aircraft-grade zinc and titanium alloy
- 12.2mm thick
- IP54 waterproof and dustproof rating
- Magnetic Milanese strap
- Heart rate monitor
- Pedometer
- Notifications for all your favorite apps
- Lost phone search
- Lost watch search
- Media control
- Multiple watch faces
- Sedentary reminder
- Sleep Monitor
- Bluetooth 4.0
The battery lasts longer than advertised and charges very fast. The pedometer is the most accurate I have tested on several devices. The heart rate monitor is accurate when tested against medical-grade devices.
I am very happy with the look and feel of the watch!

#motioneyeos #dbtech #raspberrypi
While doing some research into what my next video should be, I noticed in my YouTube analytics that my first MotionEyeOS video is still in my top 5 videos for the last month. So I decided to see about making a follow up video on it.
After I setup my Raspberry Pi 3b+, I logged in and added a camera like I’ve always done. Immediately there was a problem and the camera I had added wasn’t showing. It was just a loading screen where the video feed should have been.
I refreshed my browser and got the same result. So then I opened the MotionEyeOS feed in the Microsoft Edge browser and it worked.
Then I started Googling things about MotionEyeOS not working in Chrome.
Almost immediately I found a Github issues page where other people had the same issue and were able to point me in the right direction.
Link to the issues page: https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneye/issues/1401
It turns out that a big change in Google Chrome Version 76.0.3809.100 causing the issue. Chrome Version 76 added lazy loading as the default setting and this, for some reason, is the reason that the video streams don’t load.
I found a couple of options:
- Use a different browser that doesn’t have lazy loading enabled.
- Disable lazy loading in Chrome.
- Use Motioneyeos Version 0.41rc1.
Disabling lazy loading in Chrome is as easy as copy/pasting this into your Chrome URL bar and pressing enter: chrome://flags/#enable-lazy-image-loading
On that screen, change the “Enable lazy image loading” setting from “Default” to “Disabled”
Then, click the “Relaunch Now” button in the bottom right of your browser screen.
Link to the RC1 download: https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/releases/tag/nightly-dev
The version I used was “dev20190813”
