How to Build a Simple 4x8 Quail or Chicken Brooder
I built a 4x8 partition-able brooder. Design details and products used listed below.
Floor: 11/16" plywood (4x8) Floor Cover: Cheapest linoleum you can find :) Glue: Roberts 2001 http://amzn.to/2hPQsbl but you only need a quart, so it may be easier to buy this in stores. 2x4's: 9 10 footers Frame: 4' high, 4' crossbars, roughly 30" apart Screws: Decking or sheet rock 2 1/2" and 1 1/2"
I set 70 quail eggs and they have started to hatch!

Checkout the upgrades to the Quail Aviary (Dome). I added SunTuf roofing, and opened up the sides a bit more. I also tried setting up a draining system for the waterer to prevent mud and poop build up. Since making the video I have abandoned that and instead have moved to the standard fountain waterers (see link below).

In this video I show you how I pickle quail eggs quickly and easily. This is a good technique if you are going to eat the eggs in the next few weeks. If you are looking for long term canning/pickling then be sure to follow proper canning procedures. If you have any tips, tricks, or recipes please share in the comments below.

Here is another quail video. I sort of stopped keeping track of the season/episode, but this is probably around Season 2 Episode 3ish.
Moved the ~35 four week old quail from the brooders into the dome. Of these 4 of them are Rosetta or Tibetan. So that brings the total to about 40 ish.
