Not that I am a web developer expert and know everything I guarantee that my advice will help you.

If you have questions or suggestions let us know in the comments.
p.s. here is what I recommend.
1. You need to take one full HTML and CSS course, then build one project.
2. You need to take one full Javascript course and complete one project.
3. You need to take on JS Framework class, can be React Js, Vue Js, or even Angular. Complete one project.
Once you are done, you will have completed 3 full courses and have 3 projects for your portfolio.

Best Web Development Project Ideas For Complete Beginners and where to go to next. The truth is, if you have no degree, you can't have a weak portfolio. Subscribe - https://www.youtube.com/codingafterthirty ( read more... )
The goal of this channel is to help you get hired as a web developer to switch careers late in life. The biggest myth out there is that anyone can get hired after going to a boot camp or studying as a self taught web developer on your own for three months.
That is not true, especially for all normal people like you and me. You have to understand if you don't have a college or computer science degree. It will be hard to compete with a weak portfolio.
Just because you created a simple todo app or an HTML site, doesn't mean you are ready to get that 150k a year job.
I say this with all the love in my heart. I made the same mistake as well. In this video, I will do web development portfolio review of some of the projects I have done and show you what goals you should set for your self moving forward. I go over some HTML, CSS, Javascript, and React projects I have done as a beginner and where to go from there.
So if you are wondering how to become a web developer watch the whole video. It gives you a realistic progression of what you should expect to build, and what skills you would need to develop in order to be able to create a portfolio that will get you hired.

The Truth About "Learning to Code" - what other youtubers are not telling you
In this video, I'm going to share with you the truth about "learning to code."
I believe that a lot of youtubers are not telling you the whole truth about "learning to code." They make it seem like it's this easy, magic process that you can do in just a few weeks. But the truth is, it's not that easy. It's actually pretty challenging and requires a lot of dedication and effort.
Hey everyone! Today, we're getting real about learning to code. You might've seen those videos where people land amazing jobs super quickly or showcase their fancy developer life. But let's be honest, it's not always that glamorous. It took me 3.5 years to really get into this field, and it might be different for you, but one thing's for sure: it's not a cakewalk.
In this video:
I'll share how I set my own expectations.
- My journey from earning $13.75/hr to making a pretty good salary.
- Why starting your own projects is a game-changer.
- A look into my own GitHub experiences (and yep, there were ups and downs).
- Thoughts on tutorials and how many you really need.
- The value of getting out there, meeting people, and networking.
Plus, a bit about why I’m not trying to sell you any courses.
It's all about hard work and sticking with it, no magic tricks. I'm just sharing my own experience, and I'd love to hear about yours too. Let me know what you think in the comments, and if you like straight-up chats like this, maybe give a thumbs up and subscribe. See you in the next video! ??️
