Romantic Endings are heavily censored in Fire Emblem Engage so much that it exist many fault list on the Internet now on who you can marry or in the game so as you might know I have worked with game localization on several, bot as a localizer, tester, translator and as a Localization manager and NOT much makes any sense with Fire emblem Engage one of the worst localizations I have ever seen I am not even talking about the hardcore censorship of most romantic endings and dialogue, NO the game is freaking buggy, its a mess ! So many scenes have the characters words not being translated, like whole sentence can be just 1 word. Several in game tool tips, game mechanics etc are WRONG, like they are objectively not how the game actually works very clear bugs. Chapter 22 for example the tooltip of the new mechanic makes zero sense and its not true for a second. So many dialogue in the game is like in Japanese they say 3-4 sentence about e.g thanking a character the English version just say Thanks. And then the game is extremely censored going far away from teh Original Japanese story and context. People love to deflect this and pretend like tis all about Lady Anna. I am not talking about Anna. I am talking abut characters like Rosado, a typical Otokonoko 男の娘 who is super THIRSTY in the game, like the passive Rosado has is about how all men wanna Smash etc. YET this character has a friendship ending lol...it makes no logically sense. Goldmary who does have a romantic ending BUT she is supposed to be promiscuous is like NERFED so to speak in the way she actually talks and addresses both men and women. Then like HALF the characters who should have a romantic ending like Fogado, Citrrine, etc who are the main character age is re-written to just be friends.
