Pokémon Ruby Version (French) - Catching Rayquaza
After beating the Elite Four, go to Route 131 and go north to witness the Sky Pillar. As you climb the Sky Pillar, make sure you have the Mach Bike with you. There are cracked floors that will make you fall through if you’re not fast enough. On top of the Sky Pillar, there is Rayquaza. Save your game before you interact. Rayquaza is on Level 70. It can strike first by using Extremespeed. When is uses Outrage, the move repeats for 2-3 turns then the user becomes confused. It can use Fly to avoid attacks for the first turn and strike the next turn. If it’s running low on HP, it will use Rest. Bring some Ultra Balls and Timer Balls as you attempt for a capture.

As you explore the cave, watch for bats flying by and lizards jumping out of the water. Cross the water with a few platforms and go up the stairs. Big eagles will drop small brown eagles, so be ready to whip. As you’re about to approach a door to the next section, watch for a skeletal dragon lunging. At the next section, you’ll see another skeletal dragon, and it will attack by shooting fireballs. Try throwing flame potions at it and you’ll receive many prizes after defeating it. After another skeletal dragon, you’ll battle against Frankenstein & Igor. This boss will release its brown eagle that will bounce about and drop fireballs. Make sure you position yourself properly and throw some flame potions when Frankenstein is nearby. After defeating the boss, collect the red orb to finish the level.

The start of the ascent has ground spines moving. Time your climbs at certain spots because electric beams could block the way. An open space room contains green aliens moving up and down that will shoot electric beams when facing you. After 2 rooms with green aliens, you’ll scale some disappearing blocks. Cross over a big hole and you’ll see even more green aliens. The left path has ground spines and the right path has electric beams. Remove 3 big boulders with the Super Arm to pick up the Magnet Beam weapon. Continue climbing but watch for electric beams and other enemies. Make your way to the top and you’ll see a big eye bouncer. Surpass it to enter the gate. Climb the ladder while avoiding electric beams and you’ll eventually reach Elec Man. Elec Man attacks by firing an electric beam in 3 different directions. His weakness is the Rolling Cutter. After the battle, you’ll receive the Thunder Beam weapon.
