A crash feels horrible. Your whole body feels something is incredibly wrong and you need to escape from it. Something needs to be fixed. Using the fight or flight mechanism to fight your crash however is not helpful. Moving the other direction can create a healing state.

At any phase in recovery the exercises I will talk about are helpful, but when you experience an increase in symptoms, like a wave of fatigue or a crash, these should be the only thing you start doing. And only do other things once the body has calmed down. This way you can slowly increase your stress endurance.
When we switch off the stress response and access the Parasympathetic Nervous System via the following exercises we experience positive effects on our energy levels, thinking, digestion, sleep and immune system.
