This is my version or attempt at playing George Harrison's solo from the Beatles classic All my Loving. I would like to point out that it is not note for note what George plays on the track. It is my version or tribute to his playing. I love playing the double stops. To do so I like to use a combination of a pick and my fingers. I basically hit the lower strings with the pick and pluck the higher notes with 3rd finger. I usually play this on my strat but I was strumming my LP and liked the sound. I just hit the record button on my camcorder and did the solo a dozen times. I then picked my 2 favorite takes. The LP is not plugged in, it is played as if it were acoustic and was recorded using the camcorder's mic. The sound of this Les Paul Studio is out of this world. The chambered body is light and it resonates beautifully.
