We mean well but sometimes people do things that our pet dogs just don't appreciate.
You Talk To Much!
Understanding someone in a language you don’t speak, is hard! Dogs are no different, although the smarter breeds like collies, shepherds can understand up to 250 words, others may only get a few. So, if you want your dog to understand, you have to be very clear in what you are saying with your mouth and your body. According to experts, the best thing, besides human training during dog classes in to not “talk” to your dog, just be silent and see what the dog thinks you are saying! Like charades!
I Get Sad Too!
Being alone the entire day is no fun for anyone! They get as tired of being alone as you of being at work! Dogs are pack animals and like to be with the entire pack, that includes all the humans that live in the household. so for the benefit of your dog, make sure you say hi to him and spend quality time with him. He Needs! Your attention or he may become depressed or vindictive… either way, not a fun pooch to come home to! You can have a walker or a doggie day car, but nothing will lift his spirit like you!
Don’t Touch My Face!!
Let me put it simply, some stranger approaches you and the first he does is touch your face or head? Reaction? I am sure you pulled away very fast maybe even had the urge to tell them to stop, if not worse. Your dog would love for you to know that he does not like it either!!!!! If it was up to him, a snarl or even a show of teeth at least, would have happened. So, your dog wants me to tell you that he tolerates you doing it because you are the boss! But tell others to pet his back right by the tail… that’s the spot!
The Vacuum Is Hunted!
Forcing yourself to get over your fears may work well for you. Your dog?... not so much. If you want your dog to not be afraid of the vacuum, fireworks, a car ride or even the vet, you need to take it very slowly! And have lots of treats available for when he does it right! Little by little reward him when he is calm, doesn’t have to be perfect at first, soothing voices are also encouraging! Fireworks are very scary for most dogs, in that case, music is a good therapy! In our fireworks video there are tips on how to help your dog deal with the loud noises!

Extinct creatures humanity is glad are gone.
Meganeura
Road trip to change weathers can be relaxing and fun. If you live in cold weather, you will probably choose a warm one for your vacation, even if you have to face a swarm of mosquitoes or other insects. If you think that you can solve everything with a fly swatter, take off your glasses, because to see the size of what's coming you, won't need them.
About the length of an arm, meet the gigantic dragonfly, The Meganeura, an insect so big that meeting it, could leave you paralyzed. His eyes, the size of kidney beans, are out of the ordinary, as is his hunting style. Modern dragonflies use their legs to hunt, but the meganeura has a more terrifying method. It uses its large jaws to catch flying insects, small amphibians, and reptiles. But, calm down! Fortunately for you, this giant dragonfly no longer exists.
Titanoboa
You may have ever seen a snake, either in real life or on TV, and it will have caused chills or curiosity. And if you thought the Reticulated Python was the largest in the world, guess what? ... You are wrong!
Titanoboa is the name of the extinct genus of snakes that lived 58 or 60 million years ago. In the swampy jungles and forests of South America, if you hear his name, for sure, think of a monstrous giant snake. The largest, longest, and heaviest ever discovered. As long as a six-story building, it could swallow a crocodile. Leaving dinosaurs aside, Titanoboa was the largest predator on planet Earth for millions of years. In the past, people were able to see larger snakes than modern ones. Neither you nor I could see them now, but ... Who really knows what exists under the earth at this time?
Evolutionary Error?
In the world there are around 18,000 species of birds. From small hummingbirds to giant monsters like ostriches. As tall as basketball players, ostriches are not the largest flightless bird, in the past there was one nearly twice as tall as an ostrich. The Struthioniformes. These ancient birds could not fly, but like ostriches, they could run at high speed on their strong legs. If you could use them as a means of transportation, you would feel like traveling in a car at average speed. Their beaks, like those of a vulture, could penetrate the skins of large prey. But not all struthioniformes evolved as majestically as the ostrich or the cassowary. In New Zealand, the adaptation led them to the kiwi, a bird smaller than a chicken, and in South America, the rhea, a very small version of the Australian emus.
Short-Face Bears
The bears we know today are small !! In the past, it seems that every animal was bigger, stronger and more terrifying! When we imagine bears, the biggest that comes to mind is the North American brown bear or even the polar bear. But the bears of

Extra large extinct animals & prehistoric creatures form your nightmares.
Before human beings walked the planet earth, there were prehistoric creatures that reigned and sowed terror in the world. Animals like dinosaurs, creatures that come out of your nightmares, and that we have only seen in historical documentaries and fiction. These animals are now extinct, but research is currently being done to bring them back to life. This process consists of inserting the DNA of the extinct animal in an embryo of a relative of this animal, whose DNA is similar enough to carry the baby of the extinct species. Although it is a great scientific advance, we should not bring any extinct creature back to our world for multiple reasons: the extinction of predators can benefit other species and make them stronger. Also, it gives these species the ability to expand and can be of great benefit to an entire ecosystem. So, don't get excited because scientists are trying to revive the dinosaurs, better prepare to tremble in fear when you meet the Extinct Animals We Shouldn't Bring to Life.
Titanis
It is quite common to have a bird as a pet, it is an animal that would never be able to harm its owner, its small size and its diet based on birdseed is what makes the bird an excellent pet. But, millions of years ago, things were not the same, there was a bird that it could harm humans, its name was Titanis, a name that evokes a powerful and majestic bird. The Titanis could be almost as large as a giraffe. This bird of such height walked through the territory of North America, being a land bird that could not fly, its greatest ability was to run very fast and with its strong and curved beak, it caught its prey. Yes, it was carnivorous. Of course, having a Titanis as a pet today would not be a good idea, indeed, I do not know if we would be alive.
Megatherium
Have you ever wondered where the sloth comes from and what are its ancestors? I thought the ancestor of this adorable little friend had to be just as adorable, but the reality is that the sloth's great-grandfather is a truly fearsome creature. The Megatherium lived in the South American region and was basically a giant sloth, as big as an elephant and as heavy as a hippopotamus. Unlike our current sloth, which feeds mainly on leaves, the Megatherium was a scavenger, meaning that it fed on the scraps left by carnivorous predators. The Megatherium was the last Ice Age mammal to disappear and the culprits for its extinction were the first humans. It is said that they have become extinct because of us, but it is also a relief that we no longer live with these terrifying creatures.

Genetically Modified Babies
Environmentally Friendly Pigs
In case you didn't know, pig excrement contains a lot of phosphorus, an essential chemical element for plant life. Because of this, it is very common for farmers to use it to fertilize their plants. However, when there is excess phosphorous in the soil, it can reach nearby water sources, creating algae that consume all the oxygen necessary for the fish to live.
This is why a group of scientists decided to modify the genetics of pigs in a laboratory, this with the intention that the body of these animals absorb more phosphorus, so not everything would be disposed of in their droppings. Now pigs help us with our plants without damaging water sources!
Transparent Gold Fish
Dissecting goldfish for laboratory experiments or anatomy classes is usually a very common practice in some countries of the world. But for animal rights groups this is an extremely cruel and unnecessary practice. This is why a group of Japanese scientists managed to come up with a solution that allowed the fish to continue living and the students to continue learning about their organs.
This was how thanks to genetic manipulation, these scientists managed to create a transparent gold fish, in which the heart, brain and other internal organs can be easily seen. Science at the service of education and animal rights.
Mice that Sing
Have you ever wondered what scientists do when they are bored at work? Well, they do experiments, only they don't do it expecting some specific result. This is how singing mice were born. Several scientists in Japan decided to put a bunch of genes into several mice just to see what happened. The result? Mice that seemed to sing like birds.
The most interesting thing was that by putting normal mice to live with the genetically modified ones, the normal ones began to use different tones and sounds to communicate with each other. It is as if they have learned a new language. So now you know, the next time you hear the birds singing, they might come from the sewer and not from the trees.
Genetically Modified Babies
Can we decide what our babies will look like? According to a series of experiments carried out in 2001, it is possible. The scientists used a method called "cytoplasmic transfer," to introduce DNA from a different person from the parents, into 30 babies. At birth, only 15 of them recorded the genes of the three genetic donors. However, by following the cases years later, they found that as a result of the experiment, one of the children had developed autism. Would you be willing to genetically modify your baby?

Pavlov and the Dog Bells
Ivan Pavlov, Russian scientist who showed the link that existed between dogs and a church-like bell. He rang it just before serving food to the dogs. And with just a bell, the canines began to salivate, without having tasted anything. This discovery was by chance, as the real research was on the body's secretions from eating. Extracting saliva and gastric juices from the dog. Pavlov won the Nobel Prize for this research in 1904. But he is best known for the physical reaction of salivating to an external stimulus, such as the bell.

Fun Mammal Facts & Strange Mammals From Around The World
The Tunneling Success
I am sure you have driven under a tunnel and at least know how to get out of it following the signs right? Tunnels are a very easy way to get form one point to another faster than going above ground. Animals have a very interesting interpretation of tunnels, There is a clever critter from the middle east that thinks tunnels are great as well. The Savi’s shrew is a tiny mouse-like mammal that is so small it uses the tunnels dug by large earthworms. Not only do they use it to move faster underground but also to protect themselves from predators who are lurking above ground. Thank goodness for us, we have street signs and are not following the worm… we may end up in china!
City or Country Side?
We have all gone to a city and have seen the people walking by the hundreds, there are restaurants and coffee shops in every corner and the hassle and buzzle of the city is constant, as if the city was alive all the time. On the other hand, the rural areas offer the more relaxing ambiance where at night you may be able to sit outside to look at the stars and not be able to count them all. Science have found an interesting brain distinction between animals in the city and rural areas. According to the investigations, mammals who live in the city have proportionally larger brains compared to those of the same species who live in rural areas. Who would think location of living would dictate the brain size...
Making the Distinction
There is hardly any questions that all of us can distinguish between a cat and a dog. It may get a little dicey with smaller dogs who may look like other animals… but never like cats. But how good would you be distinguishing between a sea lion and a seal? Most of us really can’t. But when it comes to water mammals and fish, here is a fools proof easily way for you to differentiate between a fish like a shark and a mammal like a dolphin or a whale. Dolphins and whales swish their tails up and down while only fish move them sideways. Now you can impress others when you go to the aquarium!
Baby Proof
We humans like to keep babies save in a crib when they are sleeping and we may be in a different room. And all other mammals have an instinct to protect their young in their own way as well. slow lori have one of the most unusual way to keep their babies safe.
The slow loris is an Asian mammal that is both poisonous and venomous. The poison is located in glands by their armpits, they will rub the glands and then run the poison on their teeth. And to protect their young, they rub the poison all over the baby’s fur before going out for food. A bite from the slow Lori can put someone into anaphylactic shock. So don’t tickle them under the
