I will note that just a couple of minutes after the end of my tracking video, Hubble was scheduled to begin observing another quasar designated SDSSRM-300. I'm not sure exactly when the slew to that object would have occurred, but since it was only 1 degree away from the previous quasar, the difference in the observed pointing attitude would be negligible. Either way, my video confirms that the Hubble Space Telescope was pointing in the expected direction at that time.

I reprocessed some old data I had of the Trifid Nebula, as well as images of the telescope tracking the sky for over two hours as it captured the Trifid. These images were taken on 6-29-14 with a Canon T5i (time lapse of the telescope) and an SBIG ST-2000XCM (time lapse and stacked image of the Trifid nebula).
