Photorealistic speedpainting demonstration showing detailed skin, hair, eyes, lips, and nose rendering in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro for Windows. The knitted scarf was actually a lot of fun, and easier than I thought it would be!

What begins as a digitally painted portrait of a beautiful, delicate face, evolves into an intricate menagerie. I really enjoy a bit of the fantastic, a lot of variety, natural elements - combining my loves of portrait, animal painting, and landscape art into one unique image. I used a variety of brushes, mostly airbrush, pencil, and pen, and some that I created myself in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. Enjoy!

Inspired by Jimsung Lim's videos where he created some intensely realistic digital eye paintings, I decided to try my hand at it. My reference was a a photo of my own eye, with some creative license. The challenge was quite enjoyable and I can't wait to do it again. The software used was Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, and I used a variety of brushes, including airbrush, pencil, pen, etc.
