Upgraded Dell Optiplex GX620
In this video, I show a Dell Optiplex GX620 that I upgraded the processor in. The whole point of this video is to show that you can get more life out of a machine with a simple upgrade, and save a lot of money by doing so. In the video I mention buying one, but yeah if you already have one, you can get more life out of your machine by doing this. Switching to a 64 bit processor and running Windows 7 64 bit will get you a longer life out of your computer, and it should still run pretty fast. No, it will not run as fast as a Core i7, but it will be much faster, and give you a longer life span. I failed to mention in the video that I had just upgraded it to 4GB of ram when I put it in the bedroom, I pulled that out of my old home theater PC.
