After solving the mysteries in the Sealed Chamber, go to the desert of Route 111 and you’ll enter the Desert Ruins. In front of the visual braille message, take 2 steps right, 2 steps down, then use Strength to open the way to the next room. Save your game before you interact. Regirock is on Level 40. It has a move called Superpower, which inflicts great damage but also lowers the user’s own Attack and Defense stats. Keep using Ultra Balls if you have any left.

Fuchsia City’s gym has a maze if invisible walls surrounding the gym leader. After battling some trainers and navigating the maze, you’ll battle the gym leader. Koga uses Poison type Pokémon. The opposing Pokémon will use Sludge to poison your Pokémon. If Weezing is low on HP, it will use Selfdestruct to inflict massive damage but make itself faint. Try using a Psychic type move, like Psybeam for example to easily knock out the opposing Pokémon. After winning, you’ll receive the Soul Badge and a TM06 (Toxic). When Toxic is used, it badly poisons the target, making the poison damage increase slowly every turn.

On Monday, go to the Celadon City Department Store and Falkner will be at the 4F of the building. Talk to him and he will give you his phone number on the PokéGear. Call him on a Saturday morning and he will be at the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City. Staraptor will use Attract to make the opposite gender less likely to move and U-turn to switch out after causing damage. Noctowl will use Featherdance to sharply lower the target’s Attack stat and Roost to restore its HP. Swellow holding a Flame Orb will use Facade to deal more damage if it has a status problem and Endeavor to make the target match the amount of HP it has left. Honchkrow will use Thunder Wave to paralyze the target and Dark Pulse for a 20% chance of making the target flinch. Pelipper will use Tailwind to speed its team up for 3 turns and Ice Beam for a 10% chance of freezing the target. Pidgeot will use Swagger to confuse the target and Double Team to raise its evasiveness stat. Moves like Thunderbolt and Stone Edge work best for this battle.

At Monstro Town, examine a Starslap at the residence of Monstermama. After you do, return to Melody Bay to solve another puzzle of tadpole notes. The order for the notes are La, Ti, Do, Re, So, Do, Re, and Mi. Once you pull it off, Toadofsky will reward you a Soprano Card.

Grimsley has a full team of Dark type Pokémon. Sharpedo will use Aqua Jet for quick strikes and Night Slash for critical hits. Scrafty will use Head Smash for big damage but at the expense of its own HP. Krookodile will use Outrage for powerful strikes until becoming confused after 2-3 turns. Drapion will use its fang moves to cause status problems like poisoning, burning, or even paralysis. Moves like Earthquake and Brick Break are good moves for this battle.
