Bendekai Kayirasa is not a sambar recipe. Kayirasa is semi thick gravy. Ladies finger is most suitable vegetable for this recipe. Most of the people don’t like this vegetable. Ladies finger clingy in nature so we need to handle this while doing dish from out of it. Otherwise dish turns very bad and people will hate it.
The okra kayirasa is simple recipe and not in need of many ingredients. The Bendekai need to cleaned well and cut the edges and do thin round slices. The ladies finger is cooked with red chilly, turmeric powder, salt, Jaggery and tamarind. The coconut, roasted urad dal and red chilly masala are a combination for this gravy. Tampering also give nice texture to this recipe.
For this recipe jaggery used for sweetness, turmeric gives nice flavour to dish. Red chilly is for spicy kick. Ladies finger is sticky in nature so tamarind used to overcome to form stickiness. If tamarind is hard we need to soak in water for five minutes or prepare tamarind juice out of it and add to the Bindi.
Bendekai Kayirasa is famous gravy in Karnataka and Most known this gravy. Kayi means coconut rasa means gravy together we call it kayirasa. You can call it as bindi coconut gravy. This is different gravy or curry apart from sambar and gojju. This bendekayi kayirasa is filled with sweetness, spicy and sourness. Finally, while doing this gravy don't comprise with any steps.

Walnut coconut laddu is one of the healthy and protein rich sweets. This laddu is made without refined sugar. So walnut laddu is a very good option to include our diet. Walnut coconut laddu is a good snack for everyone. This laddu is not traditionally sweet but walnut laddu is very healthy to our body. Walnut coconut laddu is very easy, quick, instant we can prepare.
Plain walnuts do not have a good taste like other nuts. But this nut gives a lot of nutrients to our body. So this is a wonderful snack. You can add different nuts along with walnuts. For kids this is work to maintain good health.
For this making the laddu walnut and coconut are major ingredients. Along with this I added jaggery and cardamom powder to this recipe. Slightly roast the coconut and walnut in ghee, it will give a good taste for the laddu. Here I used cardamom powder for flavour and got a good aroma. You can use elaichi powder or other flavors.
For sweetness I used jaggery syrup for preparing the laddu. Instead of jaggery you can try with white sugar or brown sugar. When we add jaggery syrup it will form moisture well so no need to add extra liquid to bring the texture of laddu. When you add the brown sugar, it will not release the required amount of moisture so you need to add some milk. Finally the texture of the mixture comes to prepare the laddu.
After preparing the laddu roll into desiccated coconut or freshly grated coconut. And rolling in coconut is completely optional. You can store this laddu for 10 days in room Temperature.

Kaddu ka sabzi is one of the easiest and healthy recipes. The Pumpkin sabzi is widely made in North India. Pumpkin sabzi is a combination of spicy, sweet and savory flavors for taste buds. This sabzi is a good side dish for many chapathi, naan and steamed rice. It is a completely vegan recipe. Pumpkins are called petha, kaddu in Hindi, Chinikayi in Kannada.
Pumpkin vegetables are loaded with a lot of nutrients and vitamins. It helps in improving the immunity level. Pumpkin also lowers cholesterol. The pumpkin sabzi is easily packed in the lunch box. This can be served as a snack for kids. For the sabzi yellow color pumpkin is most suited to the recipe. I love pumpkin vegetables because they are creamy when we cook them. We can easily add this vegetable to the curry, soup and so many recipes we can prepare from this pumpkin.
Kaddu ka sabzi needs few ingredients to prepare. First of all, the little difficult task is cutting the pumpkin. Because it’s outer skin is a little harder than other vegetables. So for me the toughest job is cutting the pumpkin. Once the chopping is done other things are going easy. Most of the time I will tell my husband to remove the outer cover of the pumpkin.
To make the simple and easy sabzi, heat the oil and splutter with cumin and hing. When the tempering starts to give good aroma, add pumpkin pieces and mix everything. Make sure pumpkin pieces are coated with oil and cook in low flame for a few minutes. The very common spices are added to this sabzi. It will give a nice texture, aroma and good taste to the sabzi and to our taste buds. Once the pumpkin cooked well tamarind pulp, jaggery and coriander leaves.

In my native most of them cultivate cocoa fruit. The people are growing middle of the secondary crop between arecanut trees. Therefore i am much familiar with this fruit. In my childhood and now too when I get cocoa fruit, i like to eat as raw. One of my grandmother prepared this juice in my childhood.
Recently i got cocoa fruit from our farm, on that time i remembered to do this awesome drink. I introduced this juice to my in laws and to my husband, they tasted for first time and all enjoyed this drink.
Generally cocoa trees are grown in West Africa, South America and South Asia. Pods are grows directly from the trunk or large branch in tree like jackfruit. Cocoa pod is rough and leathery rind. This fruit filled with mild sweet and white layered or mucilaginous pulp inside. Cocoa is key ingredient for preparing chocolates.
From the cocoa pods, remove all white layered cocoa beans and transfer to a bowl. Add enough water and squeeze well for squash. While squeezing it will releases all white layered pulp. I have collected all the squash in another bowl by sieving it. In a glass half fill with cocoa fruit squash, powdered sugar sweetness, pinch of salt for taste, lemon slices for sourness. Later fill it with normal water and ice cubes.
