Previously, Heorot carried out some side quests in Bastok: "Rivals", "Hearts of Mythril", and "The Eleventh's Hour". Now, he will work to unlock the Bard and Samurai jobs.
Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he finds another Ice Cluster that failed to sell on the auction house. He heads out to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 0:54):
At the auction house, Heorot relists the Ice Cluster for a lower price.
Then, he goes to the Chocobo Stables and talks to Zopago. He gets the Day 18 status report for Amber Beauty, his chocobo chick, and gives her some care. Who could resist those big eyes and that cute wiggle?
Afterwards, Heorot teleports to Lower Jeuno. That is where the quest line to unlock Bard begins.
Lower Jeuno (time 7:25):
Heorot enters the Merry Minstrel Meadhouse at H-8. At I-8 inside, he talks to a Hume man named Mertaire, who is not so merry. In fact, it seems that he has been dumped. This informally starts the quest "The Old Monument", but it does not show up on the quest list until it is completed. It requires the player to have reached Level 30 in a job.
At the bar, Heorot talks to Bki Tbujhja. She tells him about song runes that can be found on Buburimu Peninsula. Maybe they will cheer up Mertaire.
Heorot teleports to Mhaura, Kolshushu.
Mhaura (time 10:34):
Heorot will need something on which to copy the song. In the downstairs warehouse at G-9, he visits Pikini-Mikini and picks up a sheet of Parchment.
Then, he exits by the main gate at H-7 to Buburimu Peninsula.
Buburimu Peninsula (time 12:53):
West of Mhaura, a ramp at H-9 leads down to Khoonta Dunes, the beach. Then, in the southwest part of the beach, a hidden tunnel at G-10 leads to a smaller beach to the west.
At G-9, Heorot finds the Song Runes monument. First, he must examine the Song Runes. A scene takes place with a traveling minstrel named Lewenhart.
After the scene, Heorot trades the Parchment to the Song Runes. He obtains the Poetic Parchment. "The Old Monument" complete!
The next quest, "A Minstrel in Despair", informally begins. Heorot must deliver the Poetic Parchment to Mertaire in Lower Jeuno.
He returns to Mhaura at I-9.
Mhaura (time 20:11):
Heorot checks the Goldsmiths' Guild to see if they have a Yellow Rock that he can use for the Mog House exit quest in Jeuno. No such luck, though.
He teleports back to Lower Jeuno.
Lower Jeuno (time 21:39):

Previously, Heorot finished training his Warrior job to Level 50 in Yhoator Jungle. Then, he began training as Monk in South Gustaberg and reached Level 14. Now, he will continue training as Monk in Konschtat Highlands and Valkurm Dunes.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he receives payment for a stack of Water Crystals that sold on the auction house. He heads outside.
Bastok Mines (time 0:50):
Heorot visits Zopago at the Chocobo Stables. He gets the Day 126 status report for Amber Beauty, his chocobo, and gives her some care.
At the auction house, he puts a stack of Wind Crystals and a stack of Fire Crystals up for sale.
When he is ready to go, he use the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Konschtat Highlands, Zulkheim.
Konschtat Highlands (time 6:21):
Heorot hunts a few assorted monsters until he hits Level 16 as Monk. Then, he takes the exit at G-3 to Valkurm Dunes.
Valkurm Dunes (time 17:07):
Heorot uses the Field Manual at L-11. He undertakes the Page 1 individual training to defeat 7 Hill Lizards and 1 Sand Hare per training regime. He also fights Goblins as they appear. He goes through the tunnel to the main part of the zone.
At Level 21, Heorot reaches the Outpost at H-7. He uses the Field Manual. He undertakes the Page 3 individual training to defeat 5 Damselflies and 3 members of the crab family per training regime.
Eventually, Heorot reaches Level 24 as Monk.
When he is done for now, he uses the Survival Guide at the Outpost at H-7 to teleport back to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 57:19):
Heorot updates his gear with items in his Mog Wardrobes. He visits Neigepance at the Chocobo Stables to sell off his loot. At the auction house, he puts a stack of Lightning Crystals up for sale. He synthesizes a square of Sheep Leather (Wind Crystal + Goblin Mask), which he sells.
Afterwards, Heorot heads to the residential area.
Mog House (time 1:03:00):
In his delivery box, he receives gil for Wind Crystals sold on the auction house.
Heorot signs off. Next time, he will continue training as Monk.

Previously, Davilas defeated Alduin and concluded the main storyline of Skyrim.
In this video, I go to the main menu to show the game's credits. This is typically what happens when you finish a game, right? I am showing them off in a separate video in case Bethesda or someone else sees fit to issue a copyright claim. Of course, there is plenty of game left. The story quest lines for the Dawnguard and Dragonborn expansions await, and there are a multitude of other quests.

Previously, the party infiltrated the prisons at Gallows Moor and acquired some Guards' Garb that enables them to walk right past the guards. Now, they will continue investigating Gallows Moor.
As the video begins, the party finds themselves on B2, a town area (time 0:10). Most of the castle's prisoners are being held here. The party can safely remove the Guards' Garb here and interact with the prisoners.
In the southwest square of the level, one of the barrels contains a Chain Sickle (time 1:39). Ooh, so valuable!
In the room off to the southwest, there is a pot containing a Seed of Agility (time 2:03). That's more like it!
In the southeastern set of rooms, there is a barrel containing Mini Medal #097 (time 6:37). Also, one of the bookshelves contains the 'Baby Escapee' dreamscape (time 9:46).
In the western graveyard of the main floor, there is a Seed of Life shining on the floor (time 16:47).
After changing back into the Guards' Garb, the party goes through the northern door (time 17:06). Past the guards, they go upstairs to level B1 (time 17:27). Then, they go upstairs to the first floor (time 17:39).
Near the scholar in the east, a chest of drawers contains a Seed of Magic (time 18:04).
One of the guards on this level has some information about Blackmar's nauseating plans for Sister Anne (time 20:04). The party must get her out before that happens.
The party goes up the grand staircase to the second floor (time 20:54). The executioner is here. Charming fellow. From what the guard by the fountain says, even the guards here are expendable.
The party goes utside to the ramparts (time 22:24). They go down the stairway in the northwest (time 23:04). This takes them to the northern part of the first floor, where there are three chests guarded by damage floors.
The chests contain Mini Medal #098, 4,800 gold, and a Ruinous Shield (time 23:13). The Ruinous Shield is cursed, so do not equip it.
The party goes back upstairs to the ramparts (time 23:52). After climbing the stairs nearby, they go into the eastern tower (time 24:00).
Atop the eastern tower, the party finds Mini Medal #099 (time 24:59). Heck yeah!
On the ramparts, the party finds a guard in front of the central structure (time 25:20). Evidently, this is Blackmar's chamber. Interesting.
Out the front door, the party also chats up the giants again (time 26:16). They offer some sound advice about tackling Blackmar.
Before heading back for the main event, the party heads to Despairia/Hopeton to rest. Next time, they will return to shake things up in Gallows Moor.

Davilas is currently working on the Version 3.3 storyline. Previously, he traveled to Glen in the past. With help from Elju and Fosteil, he acquired Sulfabar Ore. At Carlamora, some events took place. The mayor processed the ore into Sulfabarin. In the Dark Province's Paradise, Davilas and Saje fueled Management Terminal Q484 with the Sulfabarin. However, after repairing the Dark Province's Moon, Q484 turned hostile, so Davilas had to fight it. Some events took place afterwards in Paradise and Carlamora. Now, Davilas will explore the Holy Tower of Darkness.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. Outside, he checks his mail and retrieves gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Thank you to the buyers!
Afterwards, Davilas Zooms to Carlamora Village.
Carlamora (time 2:52):
In the pub, Davilas changes his vocation to Level 58 Sage temporarily.
As Davilas goes up the hill towards the Moon Chamber, a cutscene takes place at E-3. The first portion involves Maiyu and Saje. Estela and others show up later. Mayor Kairam rewards Davilas with 80 Mini Medals for a total of 776, 376,000 experience points, 200,000 skill orb points, and 12,800 gold. Davilas's next objective is to go to the Holy Tower of Darkness in Paradise.
After the scene, Davilas jumps to Sage Level 61.
At the pub, Davilas changes his vocation back to Level 103 Minstrel. He swaps out his Sage hireling for a Priest.
Afterwards, Davilas heads out to the Limbo of Darkness at C-6.
Limbo of Darkness (time 16:51):
Davilas enters the Elevator to Paradise at E-2.
Elevator to Paradise (time 17:24):
Davilas operates the switch at D-7 to move the elevator to the upper level. Then, he goes out the southern door to Paradise.
Paradise (time 18:12):
Davilas is now free to explore the high-tech Paradise. Poor Q484. Note that there are monsters along the outer ring.
At F-5 along the outer ring, a black chest contains a Phantom World Warrior's Ring (幻界闘士のゆびわ).

Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a few Merit Point upgrades. In his delivery box, he gets back an Ice Cluster and a Pellucid Stone that did not sell at the auction house. Then, he heads out.

At the auction house, Heorot puts the unsold Ice Cluster and a Pluton up for sale. Then, he teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.

Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Just up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.

Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he heads north and hunts some more Eschan Il'aern. In the process, he gains some club skill.
Heorot accrues 1 Job Point for a total of 42 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:17:25):
Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 1:17:59):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.
Bastok Markets (time 1:19:42):
Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Vouchers to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:21:42):
Heorot enters the residential area.

Previously, Heorot continued the Wings of the Goddess storyline. He carried out Wings of the Goddess Mission 38: "Adieu, Lilisette", Mission 39: "By the Fading Light", and Mission 40: "Edge of Existence". He started Mission 41: "Her Memories", which is comprised of several subquests. Heorot carried out the quest "Her Memories: Homecoming Queen" and got the first Large Memory Fragment". Now, he will continue Mission 41: "Her Memories".
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in present-day Southern San d'Oria. He heads outside.

Heorot teleports to Watchdog Alley in the west of the zone. In the northeastern house, he talks to Amaura at G-6. This triggers a cutscene.
The second memory fragment quest, "Her Memories: Of Malign Maladies" begins. Heorot must first visit a certain physician in Jeuno.

In the Infirmary, Heorot talks to Monberaux at G-10. This triggers another cutscene.
Next, Link teleports to Windurst Waters.
Windurst Waters (time 9:31):
In the east wing of the Optistery, Heorot examines the Library Book at G-8 along the eastern wall. This triggers a scene. Going forward, a Philosopher's Stone will be needed. Heorot got one on the auction house.
Heorot teleports to Port Windurst.
Port Windurst (time 12:26):
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at B-5 to teleport to Grauberg [S], Gustaberg Front.
Grauberg [S] (time 13:06):
Heorot arrives at L-4.
In Witchfire Glen in the northwest of the zone, Heorot trades his Philosopher's Stone to the Fey Blossoms at F-5. This triggers a brief cutscene. Heorot must leave the Philosopher's Stone there and return on the next Vana'diel day.
Heorot defeats an Air Elemental in the area.
He logs out and then logs back on the next Vana'diel day. He also has to zone out and return. So, he exits to Pashhow Marshlands [S], Derfland Front, at J-3.
Pashhow Marshlands [S] (time 26:05):
Heorot arrives at G-11. He turns around and reenters Grauberg [S], Gustaberg Front.
Grauberg [S] (time 26:29):
Heorot returns to Witchfire Glen in the northwest. At F-5, he examines the Fey Blossoms. This triggers a cutscene. Heorot acquires the Fey Stone temporary key item.
Heorot casts Warp to return to present-day Bastok Mines.

He warps to Southern San d'Oria [S], Ronfaure Front.

Previously, the party did some more grinding. Heorot began leveling up his Martial Artist vocation and reached Level 42. Now, the party will begin working on the Martial Artist vocation quest line in Julette.
Glen (time 0:28):
The party resumes in the church in Glen. They go outside and Zoom to the town of Julette.
Julette (time 3:23):
At D-6, the party talks to a Wedi Martial Artist named Yarn southwest of the pub. Yarn issues Quest 149: "The Legacy of a Super Tendoshi", the first Martial Artist vocation quest. The prerequisite is to reach Martial Artist Level 10. Yarn gives Heorot the "Super Ten Yugi - Book 1" (超天遊戯-壱の書-) key item. The first objective is to read this book, which will tell him what to do next.
Heorot goes into his key items and reads "Super Ten Yugi - Book 1". The next objective is to defeat five Haardvarks in the East Glen Region.
The party Zooms to Glen Castle Town.

The party exits east at H-6 to the East Glen Region.

Haardvarks (どくろあらい) are located not far from the Glen city gates. They do not have to be dispatched in any particular way.
The party has soon defeated all five required. The next objective is to visit Yarn in Julette.

Julette (time 9:36):
The party reports to Yarn at D-6. Quest 149 complete! Yarn rewards the party with the Martial Artist's Boots (武闘家のくつ). Heorot equips them.
The party talks to Yarn at D-6 again. Yarn issues Quest 150: "The Second Trial", the second Martial Artist vocation quest. The prerequisites are to complete Quest 149 and to reach Martial Artist Level 15. Yarn gives Heorot the "Super Ten Yugi - Book 2" (超天遊戯-弐の書-) key item. The first objective is to read this book.
Heorot goes into his key items and reads "Super Ten Yugi - Book 2". The next destination is the Big Glittering Windmill Tower.
The party Zooms to the Big Glittering Windmill Tower on the Pukland continent.
Big Glittering Windmill Tower (time 13:11):
As the party arrives, a scene takes place. The book gives Heorot another task. Five times, he must encounter a Terror Tabby, use the Psyche Up ability to boost his tension, and defeat the Terror Tabby.
The party exits at H-3/H-4 to Windmill Hill.
Windmill Hill (time 14:21):
The party finds Terror Tabbies (ベロニャーゴ) on the plain east of the river near the Big Glittering Windmill Tower. In each battle, the protagonist must use Psyche Up and then deliver the final blow to the Terror Tabby. It won't work if the character is already at max tension; wait until the character's tension has drained and then try again.
After a time, Heorot has tensely defeated five Terror Tabbies. The next objective is to report to Yarn in Julette.
The party Zooms to Julette.
Julette (time 19:50):
The party reports to Yarn at D-6. A scene with an Ogre Martial Artist takes place. Quest 150 complete! Yarn rewards the party with a Strength Ring (ちからのゆびわ). Heorot equips the Strength Ring.
The party talks to Yarn at D-6 again. Yarn issues Quest 151: "Heir to the Name", the third Martial Artist vocation quest. The prerequisites are to complete Quest 150 and to reach Martial Artist Level 20. Yarn gives Heorot the "Super Ten Yugi - Book 3" (超天遊戯-参の書-) key item, which Heorot must read.
Heorot goes into his key items and reads "Super Ten Yugi - Book 3". The next destination is the Cove Settlement in the Gilzad Region on the Ogrid continent.
The party Zooms to the Cove Settlement in the Gilzad Region.

Previously, Heorot explored Yuhtunga Jungle in the Elshimo Lowlands and Yhoator Jungle in the Elshimo Uplands and found the Survival Guide in each zone. Then, in Yhoator Jungle, he began a training regime to defeat White Lizards and Goblins. He will now continue this training regime.
Yhoator Jungle:
Heorot resumes in the Yhoator Jungle in the Elshimo Uplands. White Lizards and fourth-tier Goblins are most easily found in the northwest, near the northern two entrances from Yuhtunga Jungle. White Lizards tend to appear in the tunnels, while Goblins appear above ground.
Soon after resuming, Heorot reaches Level 44 as Red Mage.
The northwest training manual is at F-7. This is close to the northernmost entrance from Yuhtunga Jungle.
At some point, Heorot reaches Level 45 as Red Mage without a level-up animation from the game.
In time, Heorot reaches Level 46 as Red Mage.
When he is done hunting for now, Heorot heads to the Elshimo Uplands Outpost. A Tonberry is lurking close to the Outpost, so Heorot takes it out before he tries to teleport.
At the Outpost, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-8 to teleport to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 59:32):
Heorot puts a stack of Fire Crystals and a stack of Lightning Crystals up for sale at the auction house. He also sells off some loot to the vendor at the Chocobo Stables. In addition, Heorot cooks a chunk of Sweet Lizard.
Heorot heads to the Residential Area.
Mog House (time 1:03:07):
Heorot signs off at home.
Next time, he will continue training in the jungles of Elshimo.
