I recently showed you how Android Studio "ran" using Chrome OS Flex on my ASUS l210m laptop. Here is the program running 100% better under Fedora Linux. Flex is great, but if you want to do serious work, Linux may still be a better option, at least for now!

FydeOS 16.0 is out now, and today we are taking a look at it! I installed this on a 2015 MacBook Air and most things worked without issue. FydeOS is a ChromeOS Flex alternative that supports Android apps out of the box.

Instructions on how to get Steam running on Chrome OS Flex (and probably regular Chrome OS too). Here are the Linux terminal commands used, if you want to copy/paste:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libc6-i386
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 libgl1:i386

Ultramarine Linux is a distribution based on Fedora 36 which is supposed to be easy to use and geared towards beginners. As you can see from the top grade video thumbnail, I give it a thumbs up!
