Like I said in the video, I have a soft spot for both BMX and Skateboarding as I use to be very active in both as a younger man. I am using Solidworks in a virtual machine, specifically VM Workstation. I know 2012 is outdated, and I do have 2013 and 2014 installed in other VMs but just decided to use this one.

I have a Hitachi Weed Eater, Weed Wacker, String Trimmer, what ever your favorite term is... Every time I get down to the last bit of string, it throws the string. 2 Things happen, one I now have plastic string laying in my yard and two, I loose about 16" of string each time this happens. This hack not only will adapt your string trimmer to larger string line, but will keep the string on the spool. My weedeater head is a bump head and the max diameter that it would hold was 0.095". It has been adapted to run 0.105" line and could be adapted up to 0.130" line.

In this video, I pull the EGR Valve and clean it. First I tried the same soak and scrub method that everyone here on youtube uses, but it wasn't clean to my satisfaction, so I went and bought some baking soda and had a go with the sand blaster. I cleaned all of the sand out first and cleared the lines of course. I do a lot of short runs and idling, which is causing a lot of crank case gas / oil to accumulate into the EGR / intake system. Down the road, I will be doing the fast idle and crank case vent mods....

A large portion of this video is about culture and when you go to these global events, you see every kind of persons, but in this case, my rant is about the lack of respect a few people showed.
I am ABSOLUTELY sure that these folks don't represent their entire ethnic group, however, my experience with many folks from that culture has been negative.
They have a certain arrogance about them like they stepped in crap or something like that. The tend to have a horrible habit of basically yelling into their phones at the truck stops to the dismay of everyone else who has to endure their conversations.... you know the type.

I have a plugged EGR valve that I will be cleaning in the next video. I needed a platform to get up to a working height to comfortably work on the engine. This workbench / platform is a 4' x 8' Sheet, 32" High. It has folding legs and is heavy, so be prepared to have a helper carry it or use a hand truck, or make a wheel dolly like I explain towards the end of the video.

I went to the Dunes with my brother over on the Oregon coast in Coos Bay. I was having some vibration issues before this trip, and following the trip, things got significantly worse. This video is me changing out the fluid in the rear end. I don't know the maintenance history of the vehicle, so I figured while I was doing the carrier bearing, might as well change the rear end fluid, Enjoy!
