Dr. Valerie Kanter is a Board-Certified Endodontist and Naturopath. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with her DMD and MS. She is a 3rd generation dentist with dental licenses in California and Florida. Dr. Kanter teaches advanced clinical endodontics at UCLA, where she is engaged in research to explore the benefits of ozone and laser applications in root canal therapy. She enjoys the opportunity to help students acquire real-life clinical skills beyond those that can be taught in a classroom. Dr. Kanter advocates a patient-centered, biological and integrative approach to endodontics.

Peter Duesberg, PhD: Can Anti-Viral Vaccines Prevent and Cure Cervical and Oral Cancers

Peter H. Duesberg, PhD, is a professor of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1968-1970 he demonstrated that influenza virus has a segmented genome and he isolated the first cancer gene through his work on retroviruses in 1970. Dr. Duesberg also mapped the genetic structure of these viruses. This, and his subsequent work in the same field, resulted in his election to the National Academy of Sciences in 1986. He was also the recipient of a seven-year Outstanding Investigator Grant from the National Institutes of Health from 1985-1992.
