When our clients first contacted us, they had been looking for a pond builder willing to travel and help them bring their dream to life. They had seen our episodes here on YouTube and contacted us asking if we are willing to travel to Spooner, WI? YES!!! We love to be able to travel to do our projects. We set up a consultation, met on site and discussed the things they liked and what the project goals were. They are going to have their daughter’s wedding here in spring of 2021! This water feature will be the center piece for photos, hanging out and celebrating the newlywed couple! We were honored and grateful for the opportunity! The big reveal is finally here!!! I love the way this project turned out! Thank you for joining us for Episode #99 project #16 part 3 of 3. Collaboration Nation! We are kicking off the first of our collaboration builds with Jay Duke! This is going to be a three-part series of us building our large Aquascape ecosystem pond in Spooner Wisconsin! That means it is a minimum of 26’ by 21’ and it is 3 ft deep. They upgraded to an intake bay and they added a wetland filter in the stream to help aid in the filtration. Because this is fed off of well water and it is in full sun we wanted to up our filtration as much as we could. We also are shielding a large portion of the system from UV light in the water storage units included in the wetland filter & intake bay. We use over 120,000 pounds of stone, 40,000 pounds of gravel and we move around a lot of soil! One of my favorite parts of this build is that Jay was gracious and taught me how to plant around our features! I had always had a good idea, but never had the confidence to just pick it all myself. Jay let me do the shopping and then just gave advice… great teachers point you in the direction to look but don’t tell you what to see! I am excited because from this lesson we were able to confidently offer planting to our clients! Thank you for subscribing! The crew tears out an old outdated Koi Pond and installs a brand new Aquascape Ecosystem Water Garden! You have to see how they transform this old pond into a "Pond King" water garden... A Living Work Of Art! The guys head to Stillwater Minnesota to help turn around a leaky outdated, overgrown pond. We are installing our Medium Water Garden Package with 15 feet of stream. It will be an 11 by 16 foot pond, with a koi fish cave for hiding. It is in a beautiful setting underneath a large pine tree, facing the master bedroom, facing the pool and hot tub. There is no bad view of the pond or this entire country side property! You will love the serene and peaceful shot of the woods the guys got on this one!
